The reel-life for these tinsel divas calls for a commitment of sticking to their beauty, weight and fitness regime. The most important driving force is their own willpower and determination.
Alia is cute, angelic, young, bubbly, chirpy and what not. But her jaw-dropping looks is not what she has earned overnight. The diva who has recently won the Filmfare best actress award was struggling hard as a teenager to get rid of those baby fat. It was a fight to achieve her dream of acting on the silver screen by losing the 16kgs weight. Finally, she could grab Shanaya’s role in Student of the Year. Her struggle gives us fitness motivation.
Diet- With the help of her personal trainer she recognised what caused bloating in the first place. Alia was put on a strict diet plan and was offered herbal tea and poha in her breakfast. That was religiously followed by fresh fruits and idlis during the day. For lunch, it was a simple desi meal of roti and green veggies. In the evening it was sugar-free tea for her with light snacks. And finally, dinner again was chapatti with barbecued chicken. She tried to stay away from the food she was addicted to.
Workout- Her celebrity trainer, Yasmin Karachiwala helped Alia stay on track throughout her fitness journey. She practised cardio, Pilates, yoga as well as dancing to stay fit. She starts her day with a warm-up that includes stretches and slow jogging. Push-ups and dumbbell raises were also included for muscle strength. Bicycle crunches, reverse crunches and ab crunches along with yoga sessions were generally her fitness exercises.
We see that overall, it is simple and effective weight loss solutions for the talented actresses to shed those unwanted pounds. But what counts before all this is the seriousness, dedication, regularity and the control over one’s own mind and body.
