Unusual is usual

Many well known designers say that grooms of today prefer outfits that are unique and not run-of-the-mill stuff. They get the suits customized like unconventional detailed work like embroidered band gala, or intricate designing on the back and along the lapels of the neckline for jodhpuri suits to get an edge over the others. After all, wedding is one day where you aim to and want to look your best. So feel free to experiment with the designs dished out in front of you.

Muted colors

Donning brightly colored suits is gradually becoming a passé. Grooms now generally prefer earthy tones. Rust and mosses colors are also finding prominence. There are shops where you can customize your total outfit. Add your personality to it. You have an upper hand in choosing the fabrics and the style you want. Ethnic wears are generally on the heavier side. But you can go for something lightweight. These days silk is hugely preferred for its dazzle and lightly feel.

Accessorize well

Even for accessories, you can have your say. For sherwanis, traditional jamevar shawl, a decorated turban, or traditionally patterned scarf adds elegance to the whole look. Don’t forget to pair it with the right mojris or sandals.
