Question
I am getting married in a month’s time and I am extremely worried about my hair loss problem. How can I give my hair additional volume for my wedding day? Few of my friends are insisting that I try a wig but I don’t want to! Are there any hairstyles which can hide my hair loss so I can look my best at my wedding? Please help me.
Answer
If you have hair that is thinning with your wedding around the corner, its time to meet a hair stylist who can help you with a haircut to hide your hair loss. If you have not been able to follow a bridal hair care regime before your wedding, don’t experiment with it using colors and changing products with just a month in hand. Your bridal hairstyle must be one that will blend well with your outfit, accentuate the best features on your face and also help camouflage the flaws, even if it is hair loss or baldness. Shorter hairstyles usually work very well for thinning hair. If you have the time and are willing to spend on hair growth products, you can try hair vitamins, topical follicle stimulators or even laser hair restoration treatment. Also bridal hairstyles will differ according to your culture. So consider your customs – do you need to wear your hair long or cover your hair before you choose a bridal hairstyle. Also make sure that you wear all your accessories and see how it looks with the new hairstyle. In case you have short hair, you can opt for hair extensions but make sure that it is firmly placed into your hair. They should not be burdened with the adornments, in the form of flowers and accessories which you will need to wear on your hair.
