Our bride of the week ditched the traditional red-coloured 'chooda' and opted for a unique 'chooda' instead. Her bridal entry is unmissable.
Indian weddings are filled with fun, masti, and lots of naach gaana. There is a lot of brainstorming done before a wedding. From the decor, food, costumes, to the theme, everything is planned according to the bride and groom. A lot of emotions come into play during a wedding preparation as it is one of the most-awaited days in a couple's life.
Weddings are no longer conventional and so are the wedding attires. Every bride wishes to have something hatke on her D-day. While some follow the traditional way, others try something unique. Be it the colour of her wedding lehenga, or ditching a designer outfit and opting for an heirloom, brides these days, are always ready to experiment. And our bride of the week comes in the latter category.

Our bride of the week, Gauri Sharma got married to the love of her life, Achintya Anand. For the wedding, Gauri looked gorgeous in an ivory-coloured lehenga by designer, Anita Dongre. Her ivory lehenga had beautiful embroidery all over with minute detailing of precious stones. Gauri carried a peach-coloured dupatta to complement her lehenga.
Gauri had ditched the traditional red chooda and had donned a unique peach-coloured chooda, matching with her dupatta. She accentuated her pastel chooda with golden kaleeras and complemented her entire look with a choker necklace, adorned with emerald and white stones, matching earrings, a long pearl necklace and maang teeka.
Gauri had kept her makeup dewy with pastel highlights, kohled eyes, a tint of plum colour on her eyes and lips and a small stone bindi. Her hair was neatly tied in a bun and flowers were adorned on them, making her one of the gorgeous brides.

Her groom, Achintya complemented her in a cream-coloured sherwani, golden safa and a mustard-hued doshala. Just like her hatke looks, the bride opted for a unique bridal entry too. Unlike the shy brides, our bride, Gauri Sharma was seen dancing her heart out as she made her bridal entry. While her family and friends cheered for the bride, her groom, Achintya was left spellbound and emotional at the same time. As they danced together, Gauri was seen wiping Achintya's tears, making it an adorable sight.
For their engagement, Gauri looked stunning in a shimmery silver-coloured attire, whereas, Achintya looked handsome in a black suit with a red flower design on the side of his coat. Gauri kept her look minimal with open tresses and subtle makeup. Instead of Achintya, it was Gauri, who went down on her knees and popped the ring to him.
