A wedding is all about food, fashion and fun. It is the start of a new phase of two souls, whose love blossoms further and gets entwined forever. It's one of the most important days of a bride and a groom's life. They want everything to be perfect, from the venue to the menu, the decor, lighting and many more. But the most significant thing that takes most of the prep time is the bridal couture of both bride and groom. However, as the bride holds the attention of a wedding, it is her ensemble that needs to be perfect from every angle.

The bride

A few days ago, we stumbled upon a bride, Aashna Marwah, who had looked like a royal person in her wedding dress and had worn the traditional red lehenga choli set. And, she had opted for the ace designer, Anamika Khanna's collections. And, being a great designer, Anamika had taken the bride under her wing and created an ensemble by mixing two cultures essence Rajasthani and Mughal.

Aashna had worn a tomato-red-coloured lehenga choli, where the choli was embellished with golden crystals and zari and resham in an intricately patterned design. On the other hand, her lehenga was embroidered with golden thread work in Banarasi silk patch patterns. She had styled her look with a double dupatta, where one of them was pinned on her shoulder neatly pleated. And another was a sheer red-coloured long trailed veil with a golden embroidered hemline.

The then bride-to-be had chosen sea-foam green-coloured crystal embedded kundan jewellery set. She had completed her look with a polki choker, a multi-tasselled neckpiece and a five-tiered kundan ranihar. Along with this, she had worn a pair of jhumkas, a double-layered nath, red chooda, kada, haath phool, matha patti with attached borla as maang teeka. But what had really attracted us towards her look were shish patti attached with the maang teeka and matha patti, the pearl embedded kamar bandhan and the baaju bandh.

On the other hand, the groom, Dhruv Marwah had complemented his then bride-to-be. Dhruv had looked absolutely handsome in the cream-coloured intricately embroidered collared sherwani. He had paired it with a two-tiered crystal-studded polki neckpiece, peach-coloured pagdi with an ornamented brooch. Dhurv had completed his look with a heavily embroidered ivory and grey colour combined doshala with a black and golden embellished hemline.
