'Chapaak' actor, Vikrant Massey is one of the most celebrated actors from the Tinseltown. Recently, he had a tough time when a fan gatecrashed his film set. Details inside.
Being in this showbiz world gives you a lot of love from the fans. There is no denying the fact that we love our favourite actors and actresses, but sometimes, we don’t even realise crossing our lines. For instance, recently, Varun Dhawan was threatened by a fan that she will kill his girlfriend, Natasha Dalal if they get married. Now, lately, another handsome hunk from the B-town became a prey to a fan’s excessive love for him and it’s none other than, Vikrant Massey.
According to a Mid-Day report, Vikrant Massey has faced a tough time at the recently held shoot of his upcoming movie, Chapaak. The shoot was taking place in Delhi’s Saket area on June 6, 2019, when a bride who was set to get married gatecrashed Vikrant’s film set. Not just this, she also created a scene there and cried inconsolably. (Also Read: Shikhar Dhawan And Rohit Sharma Enjoy Local Train Ride Together With Their Wives And Kids)
The report quoted a source as saying, “While the team had taken adequate security measures for the evening shoot, a woman -- dressed in bridal finery -- broke into the set. She created a scene as she cried inconsolably, demanding that she meet the actor. She refused to budge and created a ruckus about how she doesn’t want to get married. When she held her ground for over an hour, Vikrant sat down with her for a chat and tried to pursue her to return to her wedding venue. However, his words fell on deaf ears. Finally, the security team had to intervene, and cops were called on set.”
Further, when the Mid-Day reached out to Vikrant for details, he chose not to divulge into particulars and was quoted as saying, "Initially, I didn't know how to react. Although I was humbled, the fact was that I couldn't let her leave her wedding functions and had to ensure that she returns safely to her family.” He had further gone on to add, "I will always be grateful for people loving my work and admiring me, but sometimes we are left in situations that throw us off balance. This was a bizarre incident." (Checkout: Veena Malik Is Worried About Sania Mirza's Baby After Her Video Went Viral, Here's How Sania Reacted)
For the ones who don’t know, Vikrant Massey is in love with a beautiful muse named, Sheetal Thakur. The two started dating in the year 2015 and have been inseparable ever since. Talking about her in an interview with Filmfare, Vikrant was quoted as saying, “We aren’t closeted about our personal lives just to create an intrigue about us. You can see our pictures on our Instagram handles. I don’t talk about these things as I’m shy.” He had further added, “I prefer coming back to a regular home like any other family. Coming back to reality from this glamorous, fragile, world of make-believe keeps me sane. Or I can be consumed by things and turn self-destructive at times.”
In the same interaction, he had also talked about surviving in the showbiz world with his looks. Vikrant had remarked, “I wouldn’t call it inhibition but yes, I’ve never considered myself an extremely good-looking guy. That didn’t alter things in any way.” He had further added, “None of my idols were conventionally good-looking heroes. Rather, they were extraordinary with the talent they possessed. Be it Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Irrfan Khan or Pankaj Kapur. So, I’m in a happy space. If there’s a character that demands a chiselled body, I’ll get it. I’m working towards it for a project.” (Do Check: Vivian Dsena Finally Reacts To The Reports Of His Divorce And Alimony Issues With Vahbiz Dorabjee)
Talking about his big dream, Vikrant was once quoted as saying, “Being a quintessential hero has never been my aspiration. I have always been an alternative kind of a child while growing up. My big aspiration, without sounding pompous, is to be known as one of the best actors we have had. I don’t know what stardom is. I have never tasted it; I am not aware of it and I really don’t know what it means. I want to be able to enjoy and talk about my performances. I want my audiences to feel what I am feeling on screen, whether it’s through a laptop or a 70mm screen. If they don’t, that will be my biggest failure.”
