From mehendi to vidai, every wedding festivities hold a special meaning, and it celebrates the beginning of two people's new life as partners. Amidst all the wedding tamjham, brides take the center stage. Over the years, we have seen brides experimenting with their outfits.

While some pick famous designer lehengas for their big day, others like to customise their outfits according to their needs. We have seen brides getting their wedding proposal inscribed on their lehenga to brides flaunting the blessing, Sada Saubhagyavati Bhavah, on their bridal dupatta. In the midst, we stumbled upon a bride, who donned her family's blessing on her bridal lehenga. Meet bride of the week, Simran Balar Jain, who is a digital content creator. She got married to her dream man, Nikhil Khabiya, in a grand wedding ceremony. However, it is her wedding lehenga that left us in awe. She donned a red lehenga designed by a Bangalore-based label. At first, her lehenga might look like a usual one, but it features the blessings of her loved ones.

For those who didn't get it, the lehenga features a special design element at the bottom of the lehenga. It is covered by Rajwadi jharokhas (windows), and the bride asked the designer to keep one of the windows open so that her loved ones could write their wishes on it.

Talking about it in an interview with The Times of India, the bride said that the notes written by her loved ones will always be treasured in the window of her lehenga. She said:

"It will remind one of our high school graduation shirts, which were covered in messages scribbled by people we wanted to remember forever."
