TEDx Speaker, Shivani Bafna's wedding was a memorable affair, and her wedding look gave us a lot of inspiration. Check out as we decode her look!
For every woman, getting married holds a big significance. The moment when our mothers told us that we will go to our own home after tying the knot, we waited for the day. After all, a wedding seems to be a fun-filled affair with the yummiest cuisine, family and friends dressed up in bright-coloured outfits and dancing all day and night.
However, the pandemic had ruined the hope of getting married in a grand affair. Nowadays, intimate weddings are trending, but bride and groom make sure to turn it into a memorable affair. We have spotted many couples donning designer ensembles for their big day. And the bride of the week, Shivani Bafna will win your heart with another pretty ensemble, which she had worn on her wedding day.

The bride of the week, Shivani Bafna is an entrepreneur and is the founder of a social media agency. She had tied the knot with her longtime beau, Shyam Shah in Jaipur. The bride had worn the ace designer, Tarun Tahiliani's lehenga. For the big day, she had worn a peach-hued lehenga with a unique peplum-style full-sleeved choli. It had a scallop-detailing at the hem.
The bride had also shared the story behind her wedding lehenga, which she had tried two years ago for fun. In an Instagram post, the bride had revealed:
"I tried this lengha on just for fun in 2019 and sent a mirror selfie to my parents (see last pic). Two years later, when I was actually wedding shopping, I still had this outfit in mind. Dainty yet opulent, elegant yet impactful. It felt right. Nothing else caught my eye to try on, so this lengha is the ONLY bridal lengha I ever tried on! One of those full circle moments."
The bride had accentuated her look with a diamond choker neckpiece, matching earrings and a nath and a matha patti. Her look was completed with minimal makeup, a small stud bindi and her hair was tied in a sleek bun.
For the maayra ceremony, the bride had worn a beautiful lavender-hued floral lehenga with pastel-green coloured choli and a matching dupatta. She had styled her look with a statement neckpiece, matching earrings, and a sheeshpatti.

On the other hand, her groom had worn a grey-hued bandhgala suit. The bride had also given a beautiful performance, which had made her mother cry. Sharing the video, the bride had written:
"Note to self: never look at your parents if you’re dancing to an emotional song because you will 100% forget your steps!! Many of you already know this, but my mom NEVER cries. My dad has always been the emotional one!! Going into the wedding, Mom told everyone that she wouldn’t shed a tear, and lo and behold, she started SOBBING in this dance. Mission accomplished."
Well, we loved the bride's beautiful wedding lehenga and her diamond jewellery made our hearts swoon!
