Since the day when Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had welcomed their little princess, 'Virushka' fans had waited with bated breath to get a glimpse of their newborn daughter. The wait had finally come to an end when Anushka had posted their first-ever family picture to announce the name of their new-born daughter. Anushka had captioned the post as “We have lived together with love, presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss - emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy.” On her post, Virat had commented, “My whole world in one frame.”
Post the birth of birth of their daughter, Vamika, Virat and Anushka had amped up the security and had even asked the paparazzi to not click any pictures of their daughter. And now, Anushka and Vamika have arrived at Ahmedabad to witness the historic match between India and England at the Motera Cricket Stadium. The mother-daughter duo will be cheering for Virat and all we hope is to get a glimpse of Virat and Anushka’s little munchkin, Vamika.
For the first time after the birth of his daughter, Vamika, Virat Kohli had expressed how it feels to be a father. For Vamika’s birth, Virat had taken a paternity leave for which he had to leave Australia after the first Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In an interaction with Times Now, when Virat was asked how he had felt while leaving for India as the birth of his child was a big occasion but his team was also in a spot of bother, he had said, “The two cannot be compared. To me, to become a father has been and will remain the greatest moment of my life. That is something that has to be experienced to understand what I am saying. The connection with the team doesn’t go away in any situation, especially when you have given everything for the team, especially for the Test team for the last six years on a daily basis. Being motivated to take Test cricket on top, take Indian cricket on top and the whole group has put in so much effort.” (Also Read: Janhvi Kapoor Shares Her Mom, Sridevi's Handwritten Letter For Her On Her Third Death Anniversary)
