Diwali has arrived early for our favourite B-town celebs. Here's a look at who wore what for Ramesh Taurani's Diwali bash.
B-town is known for many things, and its killer festivities for any and all occasions are high on that list. Well, with Diwali right around the corner, you couldn’t expect our glamorous stars to just sit back at home. Yes, the celebrations started early this year for our favourite celebs! Here’s a look at some of the stars who are out having a gala time at Ramesh Taurani's Diwali bash.
Tamannah Bhatia and Vijay Verma, a fan favourite couple in B-town, were papped making an appearance at Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali bash. Tamannah looked drop-dead gorgeous as she flaunted her curves in a rani pink lehenga for the occasion. Her beau, Vijay Verma looked dapper in a jacket and trousers.
Tamannah’s lehenga didn’t feature much embroidery or embellishments, but the crushed pleat effect along her skirt, dupatta, and sleeves of her blouse elevated her look beautifully. Miniscule gold embellishments were noted along her dupatta border. Tamannah paired the outfit with a matching set featuring a statement neckpiece, bangles, and a huge emerald ring. Thus, she let her accessories do the talking.
Vijay Verma looked dapper in an olive-green bandhgala jacket featuring intricate geometric embroidery. He layered a slightly sheer shirt with black accents under the same to add a subtle layering effect. Vijay also opted for wide-legged trousers with a relaxed silhouette to add a bit of contrast to the fitted jacket. For shoes, he went with black loafers with a bit of gold detailing to add a touch of elegance to his ensemble.
Siddharth Malhotra looked dapper in an ivory sherwani featuring intricate floral embroidery in metallic tones of gold and silver. He paired the same with classic white churidar pants that taper at the ankles to balance out the longer, flowing sherwani. Siddharth further polished off his look with traditional brown juttis, bringing a pop of colour to his outfit with the same.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been setting couple goals for a while now, and their appearance at Ramesh Taurani’s Diwali bash seems no different. Not only were the pair seen laughing and having a jolly time with each other while posing for the paps, but their outfits for the affair were simply stunning.
Sonakshi donned a long, flowy anarkali suit with voluminous sleeves in shades of sage green. It featured intricate floral embroidery and geometric motifs that gave the ensemble a regal air. Sonakshi paired the same with matching churidar pants and opted for gold kolhapuris to pull her look together. She let her outfit steal the show with minimal accessories, donning only a few statement rings and a pair of jhumkas.
Zaheer, on the other hand, donned a black kurta-style shirt with a black loose-fit jacket layered over it. He brought a contemporary feeling to his ensemble by opting for grey, wide-legged trousers. Zaheer opted for a pair of open-toed sandals that perfectly complemented the casual look he was going for. He further accessorised with a watch, some rings, and a bracelet.
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra had been caught up in controversies for a while, but the couple has never let anything stop them from having fun. The couple made an appearance at Ramesh Taurani’s bash, where Shilpa looked nothing less than a goddess in a cream saree-style lehenga. Her blouse was a stunning off-the-shoulder number with a corset structure. The entire ensemble featured a mix of lace and embroidery that gave her look a romantic air. She accessorised with a choker necklace, some rings, and a thin bracelet.
Raj, on the other hand, wore a white kurta featuring horizontal embroidery in shades of gold. He paired the same with dhoti-style pants with a draped look that gave his ensemble a contemporary edge. Keeping in line with the white theme, he donned white sneakers. Finally, he pulled the look together with tinted shades.
