Popular television actress, Charu Asopa is a prominent face in the showbiz industry. Even though she has been missing from the screen for some time now, the actress somehow manages to be a part of the headlines for one reason or the other. For the unversed, Charu's personal life wasn't a bed of roses, as she had two failed marriages, and now she is raising her daughter, Ziana, as a single parent.
A few moments back, taking to her IG handle, Charu Asopa dropped a beautiful family portrait from her sister-in-law, Monika's baby shower ceremony. In the picture, we can see the parents-to-be, Chetan and Monika Asopa, posing for the lens with the former parents, sisters, and cutesy niece, Ziana. The area was beautifully decorated with colourful balloons, an 'Oh Baby' sign, and some quirky props. Sharing the picture, Charu penned a note, which can be read as:
"Our family is about to get bigger and cuter."

Charu Asopa also shared a series of inside glimpses from the event on her IG handle. For the ceremony, Charu opted for a blue-hued anarkali with pink roses printed on it and teamed it up with a pink-hued sheer net dupatta. However, it was her daughter, Ziana, who looked the cutest in a red-hued bandhani-printed suit paired with a white-hued pyjama and a matching net dupatta. With her hair tied in two piggy tails, Ziana melted our hearts with her cuteness.
In yet another picture, we can see Charu Asopa posing for a happy picture with her brother, Chetan Asopa, and his wife, Monika Asopa. For the intimate celebration, the mommy-to-be was seen decked up in a green-hued saree and matching jewellery. Completing her look with a bun, she also donned a 'Mom-to-be' sesh. On the other hand, Chetan looked dapper in a dark green-hued kurta and white pyjama. In one of the pictures, we can also spot Charu and Chetan's sister, Chinta Asopa, laughing her heart out as the camera clicked her.

Earlier, in a candid conversation with the ETimes, Charu Asopa opened up about her decision to make a comeback on TV. Talking about why it took her a long time to get back to work, she mentioned how the success ratio of television shows has fallen in the past few years. Reflecting on the same, she shared that the roles that she received were not paying her well and that they were not worth leaving her daughter at home for 12 hours.
