TV actress, Charu Asopa is married to Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen. The two had tied the knot on June 16, 2019, in Goa as per Rajasthani and Bengali rituals. After certain ups and downs in their married life, Charu and Rajeev held on to each other tight and now, they are experiencing their first pregnancy journey.
On May 21, 2021, Charu Asopa had announced the news of her pregnancy on her IG handle. She had shared a beautiful picture, flaunting her baby bump in a beige-coloured dress and her pregnancy glow was unmissable. She had written, “Grateful, thankfull, blessed.”

Charu has been sharing her gorgeous pictures on her IG handle and a few hours back, she shared a picture, flaunting her baby bump. Charu can be seen wearing a grey-coloured t-shirt dress, and her 5 months baby bump was clearly visible as she cradled it. On Charu’s picture, Rajeev wrote, “My ladoos,” followed by kissing emoticons. To this, Charu replied, “@rajeevsen9 we love you.”
Charu Asopa’s nanad, Sushmita Sen is super-excited about becoming a bua soon. On May 24, 2021, Sushmita Sen had shared a picture of her bhabhi, Charu, flaunting her baby bump on her IG handle. She had captioned it as "I’ve been waiting patiently to share this wonderful news with you all! I am going to be a bua! Congratulations to my beautiful sister in law @charuasopa and brother Rajeev on their blessed journey of parenthood!"

Revealing her sister-in-law, Charu’s due date, which will be around Sushmita’s birthday, she had added, “They are expecting their first child in November, the date may be on my birthday! Yipppeeeeee! Speak of Happy serendipity! I can’t wait to hold the little one! Charu has been waiting a long time for this & given her love for children, I just know, she’ll be an amazing mother!"
For every expecting woman, pregnancy craving is a crazy phase as they can crave for anything at any moment. Taking to her IG handle on May 22, 2021, Charu Asopa had shared a funny post dedicated to her pregnancy cravings. The post was about how a baby inside the womb gets hungry and immediately orders food from womb service irrespective of the time in the clock and every mom-to-be can relate to it.
In an interview with The Times Of India, Charu Asopa had revealed her husband, Rajeev and sister-in-law, Sushmita Sen’s reaction to her pregnancy. She had said, “Sushmita didi is so excited. She keeps sending me voice notes and the messages she sends are amazing to hear. She is very happy and is just waiting for the baby. Everybody is so excited, so happy in the family. Be it Rajeev, my mother-in-law, Sushmita didi or my side of the family. It is going to be after a long time that there will be a new baby in the family. So everyone is very happy. I have been getting so many congratulatory messages from everyone ever since I've announced the pregnancy.”
