Heavily-pregnant, Chhavi Mittal, who is going to pop anytime now, has entered the 10th month of pregnancy. She shares a long post as to how only the baby decides the due date.
Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann actress, Chhavi Mittal is all set to embrace motherhood for the second time, and anytime soon, we can hear the good news. To give you an overview of the 35-year-old actress, Chhavi Mittal got married to television director, Mohit Hussein in 2005. And now, Chhavi and Mohit are going to experience the most blissful part of any marital life for the second time. (You May Like: How To Get Your Body Back In Shape After Pregnancy)
Chhavi Mittal has been quite active on Instagram throughout her pregnancy and has shared a lot many posts talking about her pregnancy experience, her feelings, her diet and possibly, everything that an expecting woman needs. Surely, Chhavi Mittal's Instagram handle has become a perfect pregnancy guide for all the ladies out there!
Chhavi Mittal's latest pregnancy post is something about which not many of us have heard before. It's about the '10th month of pregnancy!' Yes, we all associate pregnancy with 9 months but Chhavi Mittal, who herself is in the 10th month of her pregnancy, has shattered the general notion. With a mix of mathematics and biology, talking about the 10th month of pregnancy, Chhavi Mittal has written, "THE 10th MONTH... Here I am, thinking I have seen it all and heard it all... But in the 11th hour of my pregnancy, there's yet another myth that I need to address! The 10th month. Yes, there is the 10th month in pregnancy, and I'm currently living it. So many people tried to correct me in one of my recent posts, thinking I may have accidentally written 10th instead of 9th. No, it was no accident. The 10th month, as logic suggests, starts after the 9th month ends. After 36 weeks of pregnancy, the baby is officially ready to come into this world. 40 weeks is considered a full term, and that's when the doctor gives you your EDD (estimated due date)" (Also Checkout: Pregnancy Symptoms: 9 Early Signs That You May Be Pregnant)
Chhavi Mittal's post elaborates more as to how nobody can predict the due date of the baby with full certainty. Further writing how the baby is the person who decides when the labour begins, Chhavi has penned down, "The due date is always ESTIMATED because nobody can predict when the baby arrives. It is extremely common and absolutely normal for women to reach 42 weeks before natural labour begins.. especially if it's the second pregnancy... and once you cross 38/39 weeks, your 10th month begins. So, while my clock ticks, I could go into labour right this minute, or another week later... I'm not worried. On the contrary, I'm rather relaxed. Because I know, once the baby comes, I'll have my hands full! And I think now is the perfect time to also say that it's always the baby who decides when labour will begin. So you can try all you want, get restless, get scans done, pray that the baby comes out fast (I know it's uncomfortable)... But trust me, the baby is the most comfortable inside you! So don't hold your breath... But remember, good things come to those who wait.... #pregnancy PC: @sachin113photographer Location:@1bhkmumbai" (Also Checkout: Body And Hormone Changes: The Emotional Challenges Of Pregnancy According To Trimester)
Chhavi Mittal, a few days ago, had penned down her 'last' pregnancy blog on Instagram. Talking about how she is ready to pop any day, she had written, “Yesterday, a new episode of SIT released on YouTube, which is about nesting. After I watched the episode on the edit, my first reaction (like any other ordinary woman) was, "Gosh I look big!" And sure enough, for all those asking me this question, YES GUYS, I'M READY TO POP ANY DAY! Officially entering the 40th week today, I'm round as a birthing ball, uncomfortable as a squashed potato, under-slept like a night watchman, forever hungry as if fasting, and last but not the least .. forgetful like a baby and clumsy like a penguin!” (Also Read: 6 Television And Bollywood Mommies Who Suffered From Depression During And After Pregnancy)
It could be further read as, “But trust me, the attention that a clumsy, huge pregnant mother gets (and deserves) is no mean feat! We're shooting for SIT's upcoming Web-Series BIN BULAYE MEHMAAN-S3, and when I'm on sets, I just have to go stand somewhere and start to bring my butt down, and miraculously a chair is shoved underneath by someone or the other! I enter a room, and 4 people get up to offer me a seat! But the most overwhelming are the comments that I received on yesterday's video 'The Nesting'. 90% of comments wished me a safe delivery. Guys I truly want to thank each one of you for making this journey so beautiful for me. Not saying this is my last blog before I pop... But then.. who knows! #readytopop PC: Thanks @sachin113photographer. For being patient on the day of this photoshoot!” (Also Checkout: 6 TV and Bollywood Celebrities Who Successfully Hid Pregnancy And Shared Only After Childbirth)
Chhavi Mittal's husband, Mohit Hussein has been her pillar of strength throughout her journey. Sharing an anecdote recalling how once it was a struggle to walk 2 steps to the washroom and Mohit Hussein helped her like a protective and caring husband, Chhavi Mittal had earlier shared, "THIS MAN! A lot of you ask me how I do everything I do even in these last few days of my pregnancy. Well, every day is not easy. Like yesterday, when walking 2 steps to the washroom was a challenge. Immense pelvic pain, back feeling like it'll break, the weight of the stomach pulling my whole body down, not getting the time to rest... Everything added up. I had to go to the site of my new flat (getting ready for the new member and how!). The dust, the chaos, the questions of my architects, my 6-year-old complaining she's hungry, me almost falling down with hunger, thirst and the scorching heat, no place to sit, and the deadlines that are refusing to near the finish line." Her post could further be read as, "Trust me, I really wanted to give up and just leave everything to chance. It's back-breaking times like these when this man takes charge of me and the situation. To be honest, it's times like these, and the worst ones, and the good ones, and the great ones, and all the ones in between, that this man completes everything. And he doesn't know this, but when he sleeps in the night, and I stay awake (which is a lot), I put my hand on his chest and feel it rise and fall with his breath.. it just makes me feel that life is good, because he lays next to me, always there, always loving, and there's not a worry in the world... @mohithussein thank you for giving me the best life and always loving me in my good and bad moods! #love PC: Thank you once again @sachin113photographer for capturing this moment. We hardly have any pictures of us together! #togetherness #marriage #wedding #anniversary #always #alwaysandforever #chhavimittal #mohithussein #father #parents #parenting."
