You’re having discomfort in sleeping, your back is aching, you have your ankles swelled up, you don’t fit into your favourite jeans anymore and let's not even talk about the bloating and morning sickness. In other words, you’re ‘pregnant’. But with these cons, the bright side of those nine months have plenty of fringe benefits that make pregnancy the most surreal feeling of a woman’s life. Most mommies-to-be are worried about whether she should take that extra step to stay fit during those nine months whereas she is constantly told to rest by the people around her. When it comes to working out while being pregnant, S.I.T. co-founder, Chhavi Mittal has been sharing her pregnancy diaries with her followers as an encouragement and motivation for mommies-to-be. From penning down the most annoying side-effect of pregnancy, a list of things she is waiting to do post delivering her second child, myths about pregnancy that people believe to be true to giving epic replies to people who raise eyebrows on her dress sense and lashing out at a man who compared his pregnant wife to a cow, Chhavi Mittal’s inspiring pregnancy diaries is something that not only the to-be mommies but we too, look forward to!

Chhavi Mittal announced her pregnancy in November 2018, and the second time mommy-to-be will welcome the little bundle of joy in May 2019. Chhavi and her husband, Mohit Hussein are already blessed with a little angel, Areeza and even she can’t wait enough to welcome her baby sibling! Coming back to Chhavi’s pregnancy diaries, on April 10, 2019, Chhavi had shared her workout routine, which we bet will be quite helpful to the expecting ladies.

Chhavi Mittal is making the most of her last trimester and as her due date is coming nearer, she is trying harder to push herself to fulfil her responsibilities. Chhavi began her post as, “As I near the end of my pregnancy, it's becoming increasingly difficult to do any kind of physical activity. And the amount of workload that I have, makes it really difficult to even take out a comfortable time. But I know that nothing is more important than mine and the baby's health right now and I push myself every morning to wake up before the others in my house to ensure that I fulfil my responsibilities as a pregnant mother, a mother to a 6-year-old, a wife, a homemaker, an entrepreneur, a writer, an actor and the many other roles that I don in a day.”

Chhavi Mittal further penned down her workout routine which includes power walking, swimming and weights, “So, while I bow down in respect for all working homemakers, working pregnant homemakers, and working second time pregnant homemakers, I'm sharing my workout routine that's a mix of things, partly to avoid monotony, but mostly to ensure that I achieve all round fitness. 1. Power walking: I try to walk for 3-4 kms, as fast as I can, and I notice that the more I walk, the better my legs carry me through the day. 2. Swimming: it's my all time favourite since the water buoyancy makes me forget the immense weight that I carry around the whole day! 3. Concluding her post with what steps she is taking to facilitate the hypnobirthing that she’s aiming for, Chhavi Mittal wrote, “I combine all this with good nutrition and lots of water. I also do a lot of breathing exercises and meditation to facilitate the Hypno-birthing I'm aiming for. But when I feel so dead that all else fails (& that happens a lot trust me), one thing that always comes in handy is good ol' Glucon D! In an exclusive interview with us, Chhavi Mittal had revealed her pregnancy cravings, "Cravings this pregnancy have been many. They keep changing, there is no fixed craving. So, sometimes I crave food and I want it right now. So, the will power factor has reduced a lot during pregnancy. I have been craving for ice-creams, junk food, pizzas. Apart from that, cold coffee, though in pregnancy, you are not allowed to have too much coffee. So, that's one of the biggest cravings I have to fight. And Indian sweets, which I don't normally like. I like cakes, but in pregnancy, I have been craving Indian sweets like, halwa, gulab jaamun and all."

Chhavi Mittal shared how their firstborn, Areeza reacted to the pregnancy news and the ecstatic soon-to-be sister’s plans for the little one, "Areeza was ecstatic when she heard that there is a baby in my tummy. She almost didn't believe me and couldn't stop laughing. She is so excited, she loves to kiss the belly, she loves to feel the kicks. And everytime she feels the kick, she has a really cute expressions on her face and where she is like, "Oh My Goddd!!! And she has a lot of plans for the baby. The toys she is gonna give the baby, the clothes she is going to give the baby.
