Chhavi Mittal Shares Her Weight Loss Tricks From Gym To Shed Post Pregnancy Weight

Chhavi Mittal, post her tough delivery has been giving major goals to all the mommies-to-be and those who lack motivation in their life post-pregnancy and during the pregnancy phase.

When a woman hears the news of her pregnancy, her happiness knows no bounds! She starts to feel different and embraces every change within her body with a full glow. Pregnancy phase is the most beautiful time when you wait for the arrival of your little bundle of joy and start counting the remaining days. You plan everything well in advance and wish the time to just flow by. Our Television diva, Chhavi Mittal had also gone through this phase, not once but twice. However, her second delivery was not as she had expected it to be.

Whenever there is a mention of women motivators, Chhavi Mittal’s name never goes unnoticed. She indeed is a motivator in true self. Her blogs about pre and post-pregnancy issues and how to overcome them has been motivating women from all around. Her second delivery wasn’t an easy task as her little boy, Arhan Hussein who was born on May 13, 2019, had refused to leave her body even until the 10th month of pregnancy. Her dreams for hypno-birthing were shattered as she had to go for a C-section. Chhavi Mittal has been giving major goals to all the mommies who lack motivation in their life post-pregnancy. On October 21, 2019, she took to her Instagram handle and shared her #MondayMotivation to hit the gym and shared how she pushes herself to do a little extra. She shared a picture from the gym and wrote, “Exhausted. Post-workout. Not dead though. There's an important rule that I follow when I'm in the gym. I push myself to do a little bit extra than I can, but I NEVER compete with others or try to do a little bit extra than they are. That's a sure road to injury. For all mothers who are struggling with postpartum weight, the important thing is to start.”

Chhavi’s post further talked about how to start and take a step forward, “Not to do what others are doing in the gym. The bit just to START and take a step forward from what you're doing now. I'm building my stamina from scratch. I can't run at a stretch for more than a minute, but I can swim non-stop for an hour. I feel dead when I do the cross-trainer, but I can skip up to 3000 at a time. I can't lift real weights, but I always make it point to increase from where I left off. So, it's important to build on your strengths and works on your weak spots. That's what I do, and that's what keeps me going. #moveforward.”  

On October 14, 2019, Chhavi Mittal had taken to her Instagram and had shared her first day at gym selfie and expressed her fear of exercising after a series of events in her life. She had shared a picture from the gym, wherein, she could be seen doing plank pose and had written, “Finally back in the gym after a series of hiccups. First, the surgery which took forever to heal. then the foot fracture. I still have discomfort in the C-sec stitches and I'm still limping due to the fracture, but nothing's gonna stop me in constantly finding and reinventing myself. My trainer tells me that there's a world of difference in training me now as compared to pre-pregnancy. my stamina is gone, my endurance is gone, I can't lift as much weight, the doc's told me to avoid walking, running, skipping and dynamic movements. That leaves me with little I can do to achieve the body that I had. But I'm only more motivated with this challenge... Shedding those extra kilos remain in our to-do list always and we always pledge to eat healthily and remain healthy. And when we finally achieve our goal or even go closer to it, our happiness has no limits! On October 8, 2019, Chhavi had taken to her Instagram and had shared her happiness when she had fitted in her old pair of jeans. She had shared her picture and had written, “Out of all the moments of joy that I experience each day with @areezahussein and @arhanhussein, there are some others which sometimes get lost in obscurity. One such moment that I even forgot to write about was the time I finally fitted into my tightest pair of pre-pregnancy jeans!”

Chhavi’s post had further read, “I'm sharing this moment with all mothers who have written to me saying either that they're pregnant and already gained a lot of weight, or that they've just delivered and are wondering what to do. While for many, weight may be the reason for being unfit, health is not only about the weight. I strive to eat right more than anything, and that's the only thing that's sustained me pre, during and post-pregnancy and continues to have my back even though my foot is fractured and still not recovered.
