We stumbled upon a stunning Indo-Chinese couple, who got hitched to each other following both Indian and Chinese traditions and glimpses from the same radiated their dedication to their roots.
With the wedding season going on in full swing all around the world, we get to see glimpses of an array of beautiful couples. While extravagant weddings don't miss the chance to grab our attention, intimate ones also etch a beautiful place in the hearts of many would-be-married couples. However, every time, it is the bride's choice of ensembles and jewellery, which always remain unique in its own way- from the intricate embroideries to the range of colour shades, each bride sets a new trend.
Now, we came across some of the mesmerising glimpses from an Indo-Chinese couple's wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies, which are simply out-of-the-box. The couple got hitched following their respective cultures at the JW Marriott in Phuket, Thailand. For the Indian style wedding, the Indian groom, Anant opted for a pastel-hued sherwani paired with a matching doshala, a turban and beige-hued pants. On the other hand, the Chinese bride, Cara looked extremely pretty in a vibrant red-hued lehenga choli adorned with floral patterned embroidery all over it.

The Chinese bride teamed her lehenga choli with two sheer dupattas adorned with gotta works on it. Moreover, Cara opted for a broad neckpiece, matching earrings, a maang teeka, and red chooda. In addition, subtle makeup, including soft blushed cheeks, nude lipstick, and thin strokes of eyeliner, completed her look. The pretty bride was also seen flaunting her beautiful mehendi-clad hands, which featured something written in her Chinese language.
Cara and Anant's wedding also had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. For the unknown, it is a cultural wedding tradition where the bride and groom serve tea to their respective families to show them respect and gratitude. In Chinese culture, it symbolises the union of the two families. For the ceremony, Cara wore a custom red-hued traditional Chinese wedding dress, Qun Kwa, with 3-D hand embroidery, featuring gold dragons, flowers or phoenix symbols. Anant also wore a blue-hued traditional Chinese wedding dress, and together, they beautifully performed all the rituals of serving the tea to her family members.

A half-done hairdo adorned with carnations and subtle makeup added stars to her look. Anant too, twinned with Cara in a dark-toned jacket with beige-hued dhoti pants.
Cara and Anant also had a fun-filled haldi ceremony amid their close friends and family. For the ceremony, the Indo-Chinese couple twinned in yellow-hued ensembles.
