The former actor corrected the interviewer and said, 'Bollywood left me'. However, he gave an honest answer, as he admitted that he tried his luck in acting because some of his friends put him on a pedestal for his looks and acting during their college days. He said:

"Maine nahi chhoda, Bollywood ne mujhe chhoda. I think I was not meant for that. Jab main gaya, bachpane ka ek shauk hota hai, school-college me log aapko chadha dete hain ki arey acha dikhta hai, acha bolta hai. You must try."

Here's the reason why Chirag Paswan said, "I am Narendra Modi's Hanuman"

Chirag Paswan shares a beautiful bond with Narendra Modi, and time and again, we have seen the former heap praises for India's PM. During his visit to Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Chirag called himself Narendra Modi's 'Hanuman' for his devotion to the PM.

Once, in an old conversation with NDTV, Chirag Paswan revealed why he is so devoted to Narendra Modi. The young politician stated that after his father, Ram Vilas Paswan's death, it was PM Modi, who reassured him and has been standing like a pillar for him and his family. He said:

"I don't need photos of PM Modi. He is in my heart. Much like Hanuman's devotion for Ram, if you cut open my heart you will find only Modi-ji. Everyone met me and my mother and condoled his death. The Chief Minister has not said one word since papa died. The PM spoke to me on the phone the day he died and came the next day. He kept his hands on my shoulder for a long time…I still remember his reassuring words."

After winning the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections in Bihar from the Hajipur constituency, Chirag Paswan is on the verge of becoming Bihar's 'next dalit icon'. If he continues to work like this, he has the potential to become the face of Dalit empowerment in Bihar, just like his father, Ram Vilas Paswan. However, only time will tell whether Chirag will lighten his father's legacy in Indian politics or not.
