Bollywood actor, Chunky Panday is the son of Dr Sharad Panday, who is a pioneer in the medical field.

Moreover, Chunky's father, Sharad had added many stars to his list of achievements during his career. One of them was being part of the team that performed India's first heart transplant. And he was even known for performing bloodless heart surgeries. Without any doubt, Chunky's father is an icon and an inspiration to many.
On the other hand, Chunky's mother, Dr Snehlata Panday was also a pioneer in her field. She was just six years old when she migrated from Pakistan to India. Later, in her life, Snehlata pursued gynaecology and ended up being a general practitioner. And just like his father, Chunky's mother had also created history in her field. She was recognised as India's first obesity doctor. Moreover, she had even set up her own clinic in the 70s and many of her clients belonged to the film industry, including Bollywood actress, Rekha.

Earlier, on August 1, 2020, Chunky Panday had taken to his Instagram handle and dropped throwback pictures of her parents, Dr Sharad Panday and Dr Snehlata Panday on Doctor's Day. In the first picture, the actor could be seen posing with his mother. While in the next picture, a candid moment of Chunky's father with Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam got captured. Sharing the pictures, the doting son penned a heartfelt note for his parents, which can be read as:
"Happy Doctors Day, to my Parents Dr Sharad Panday, Dr Snehlata Panday and all the DOCTORS in the world."
Chunky Panday shared a beautiful bond with his mother, Dr Snehlata Panday. And a glimpse of this was found when he opened up about the fondest memory of his mother in an interview with ETimes. Talking about the same, the actor recalled his initial years in the film industry and revealed that his mother used to accompany him on the sets. In his words:
"I have travelled with her everywhere and I was known as a mama's boy. Normally heroines used to take their mothers along with them while travelling for films, I was the only hero who travelled with his mom. And since I didn't have any steady girlfriend, I used to take my mother everywhere. I am glad that she got to see the world with me."
