In a recent interview, Chunky Pandey recalled an incident when a man threw a stone at him after watching his film, Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Chunky Pandey, who has had a long and varied career in Bollywood, has played comic characters in several notable films like, Apna Sapna Money Money, Housefull, and its sequels. Although Chunky Pandey had a successful start to his career, he faced a low phase in the mid-1990s. In a recent interview, Chunky Pandey recalled a man hitting him with a stone after watching his film, Khatron Ke Khiladi.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Chunky Pandey recalled a man throwing a stone towards his head after watching his film, Khatron ke Khiladi in 1988. He further mentioned that the stone also hurt his co-star in the film, Meenakshi Seshadri. Speaking about the same, he said:
"I have received the maximum criticism. I was shooting for a film outside a theatre. A man came after watching my film Khatron Ke Khiladi and he threw a stone at my head. It was a small stone, it hit my head and then it hit the shoulder of the heroine."

In the same interview, Chunky said that although nothing happened to his head, Meenakshi Seshadri, the film's heroine got stitches. Mentioning that Khatron Ke Khiladi was a good film, Chunky added:
"Mere sar ko kuch nahi hua, par heroine ko stitches aaye. Maine bola bhai you wasted it. But Khatron Ke Khiladi was a good film."
