Question: I am all set to get married this December. I am extremely excited about the preparations, which are underway. Being a bright color lover, I want bold colors to adorn my wedding. Colors like red, orange, magenta are my picks. Pastel shades are something, which I feel, will dampen the whole mood of my wedding and that’s the last thing I want. Also, they instill a kind of gloom in me. So it’s got to be something unconventional and perky for my wedding. Do you think it will work or I will end up making a fool out of my wedding and me?

Answer: Now that’s what we call, doing what you want to do on your wedding. Many brides love to branch out from traditional wedding dos to make an impact. So don’t digress yourself by thinking that you are going overboard with your wish list. It’s your day…spend it the way you want.

Being bold has often been linked to being beautiful. So red or orange can easily be the color of your wedding. That’s also because the variety in these shades is aplenty. So you will have options to choose from which is great thing when it comes to a wedding.

You can use red, orange and it’s shades in ribbons, confetti, candles, the seating area. You can have drapes of the same or contrasting color hugging the whole venue. You can break in red roses and others as far as flowers are concerned. Remember to use it all over the venue so that the look is complete. Concentrated decoration might take away the impact.

If red and orange is your choice, you can also opt for such colors when it comes to your wedding attire. In a daytime wedding, however, it is advisable to wear something less eye piercing like bright orange or red. Keep it accurately sublime and go for magenta instead. For a night wedding, you can opt for any color you want.
