There's no doubt in the much-known fact that a father is the one, who never shows his true sentiments in front of his children and will love them unconditionally till eternity. One such doting father is Bollywood director, David Dhawan, who shares a beautiful relationship with his son and actor, Varun Dhawan. But on the professional front, the director treats his son, just like any other actor in the world. And, a glimpse of the same has been narrated by their upcoming film, Coolie No 1's lead actress, Sara Ali Khan in her recent interview. Scroll down to know it!

In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Coolie No 1 actress, Sara Ali Khan disclosed an interesting incident, when director, David Dhawan had gotten furious at his son and actor, Varun Dhawan on the sets of their movie. Sara revealed that they were filming for their peppy track, Main Toh Raste Se and it was Varun, who was busy in some kind of a costume business in his vanity van, and it had made his daddy, David ji furious. She said, "He was doing some costume business in the van, and David sir got pretty upset at him as it was delaying the shoot." The actress also added that David ji had vented on her instead of his own son. She said, "So basically, he was angry at Varun but vented on me. That was a bit of an issue, but it is all good." The father-son duo, David Dhawan and Varun Dhawan shares a warm rapport with each other and never skips a chance to shower their compliments and love on one another in their respective interviews. For instance, when Varun Dhawan had visited on the show, The Kapil Sharma Show, the doting son had talked about his hunger for proving his dad wrong in almost every step of his career. The actor had explained, "I always take it as a challenge to prove dad wrong in every situation and come out with a better version of me." The context in which Varun wants to prove his dad wrong is that he's enthusiastic and passionate about his work and is also open to every single challenge that comes along with the characters he does in movies.

During the show, Varun Dhawan had also shed some light on his experience of working with his father, David Dhawan, in their upcoming film, Coolie No 1. The actor had revealed that his dad was remarkably strict with him during the shooting of the whole film. Referring to the same, he had narrated one incident of the same, when he had requested for the film's script. On which his father, Dhawan ji had simply said 'no' and had added that, "Jab Maine Salman Khan, Govinda, Anil Kapoor ko scripts nahi dikhai, to tujhe kyu dikhau?" Well, there's no doubt that David Dhawan is just like many other Bollywood filmmakers and stars, who don't like giving special treatment to their children on the sets and that's what makes them one of the greatest of this industry.
