The video that surfaced online was posted by a vlogger couple on their Instagram, giving viewers a rare look at Shah Rukh’s extravagant London residence located in the prestigious Park Lane area. The footage revealed the sleek facade of the house with the number, ‘117’ prominently displayed. It captured a lineup of luxury cars parked outside, further highlighting the grandeur of the location and the property itself.
According to a 2009 report by Manchester Evening News, the property is valued at a staggering 20 million euros (approximately Rs. 215 crore), making it one of the most expensive property investments by an Indian actor overseas. The chic abode reflects a fine blend of contemporary and elegant British style. The property is situated in Mayfair, a location renowned for its high-end real estate and upscale boutiques.
Shah Rukh Khan’s luxury estate in London is more than just another building – it also holds a significant personal meaning. His children, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan spent their formative years in this house when they were finishing their studies in the UK. His eldest son, Aryan Khan, pursued his education at the prestigious Sevenoaks School. Meanwhile, Suhana completed her studies and graduated from Ardingly College.
After the video went viral online, it left the Internet divided, with many fans being thrilled to see a glimpse of Shah Rukh’s London abode, and others expressing outrage for invading the property’s privacy by showing the house number. One fan commented, “This is an invasion of privacy! Even if it’s SRK, he’s also a human. How would you feel if someone recorded your house with your house number on it?” Another wrote, “Yes, this is unfair. Trespassing.” The original post seems to have been removed after the backlash.
