Indian cricket team’s star batsman and the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians captain, Rohit Sharma, is all set to tie the knot with his fiancée, Ritika Sajdeh, on December 13, 2015. Well, with the wedding day approaching fast, the preparations of course, would be in full swing. And, the cricketer even met Prime Minister Narendra Modi to invite him for his wedding.

The 28-year-old cricketer was in Delhi for the test match against South Africa. Taking time out of his busy schedule, he dropped in at the Parliament House on December 1, and invited PM Modi to his wedding by handing over a bouquet of flowers and the invitation card to him.

Rohit proposed to Ritika on May 2 at the Borivali Sports Club, Mumbai; the same place from where he started his career, and the two got engaged the same month.

Their wedding will take place at a five star hotel in Bandra, Mumbai.

There is no confirmation as of now whether the PM will be attending the wedding or not. However, he has been a part of a lot of celeb weddings this year, so we are hoping to see him at this couple’s big day too. The last wedding he was seen in was of the cricketer Harbhajan Singh and actress Geeta Basra.
