In a recent interview, Dalljiet Kaur revealed how her son, Jaydon faced bullying earlier. She also mentioned how his 'papa' helped him come out of that phase.
Television actress, Dalljiet Kaur has proved that love can be found anywhere at any age. For the unversed, after getting divorced from Shalin Bhanot, the actress tied the knot with Kenya-based businessman, Nikhil Patel in March 2023. Dalljiet is currently living a fairytale life with her hubby, Nikhil, son, Jaydon, and two daughters. Recently the actress revealed how her son, Jaydon faced bullying earlier and how his new papa, Nikhil has helped him.
In the latest interview with ETimes, Dalljiet Kaur shared that she and her husband will go to London to celebrate their 4th anniversary. Talking about her trip to India, Dalljiet mentioned that it was a wonderful trip as she got to meet with her parents and friends. The actress mentioned that it was an unplanned trip, but it turned out to be an amazing time. Dalljiet then shared how her son, Jaydon, really enjoyed being in India as he got to meet his old friends and maternal grandparents.

In the same interview, Dalljiet Kaur stated that her son, Jaydon, has become more active and confident. She shared that she thinks that her hubby, Nick has introduced Jaydon to the real world. The actress mentioned that Jaydon is really happy that he found Nikhil as a father. Talking about the bonding between Jaydon and Nikhil, Dalljiet mentioned that when the latter comes back from the office, the former runs to him and hugs him tight, which is a beautiful sight for her to see.
Further in the interview, Dalljiet shared how her son, Jaydon faced bullying earlier. She revealed once his son told her that 'toh kya hua mumma bullying is fine', which created fear in her heart, thinking if Jaydon is getting used to this. The actress then shared that with her second husband, Nick coming into his son's life, he feels the power of a male presence. Elaborating more on the same, Dalljiet shared:
"I would obviously go and rescue him wherever possible. But there was a time when Jaydon actually told me “toh Kya hua mumma bullying is fine”. I was scared oh my god is he getting used to it? But with Nick coming into his life, he feels the power of a male presence in his life. Previously, I was strong and could fight on his behalf but he had stopped telling me because he did not want his mother to fight. He shares more with him than me now."
Talking about her new life in Kenya, Dalljiet mentioned that it's been very interesting with her husband. She shared that she started feeling homesick in the first few days and missed her parents, but Nikhil helped her in every phase. She mentioned:
"I started feeling homesick very soon. I started missing my mom, dad more than anyone else. But very soon with Nick helping me in every phase, introducing me to some amazing set of people, telling me that I’m not away from my career, so I slowly started to find a balance. India is very different and here the whole culture is different but it is beautiful to explore it with Nick. I’m learning from him, his culture, his ways and he’s learning from me. Like our daughter, she keeps telling me that I’m more Indian than I ever was."

In the same interview, Dalljiet Kaur opened up about whether she will have kids. The actress clarified that she and her hubby aren't planning any more kids. The actress shared that they have adorable kids and they have enjoyed their journeys.
