Television actress, Dalljiet Kaur made her first appearance for a work event in India amidst divorce rumours from her second husband, Nikhil Patel.
Dalljiet Kaur, who restarted her life after getting married to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel, is going through a tough phase as murmurs of her divorce made rounds in February 2024. The actress' team shared an official statement on her behalf and claimed that she is in India with her son, Jaydon, for her parents' surgeries. However, her deleted wedding pictures tell a different tale. Amidst it, Dalljiet made her first appearance as she resumed her work in India.
On March 5, 2024, Dalljiet Kaur took to her Instagram stories and shared her first picture amidst divorce speculations. In the picture, we can see Dalljiet donning a white-hued saree with polka dots. She teamed it with a bralette-style blouse. Her look was accentuated with a chunky oxidised necklace with matching years. Subtle makeup, a black bindi and hair left-open completed her look. Atop it, Dalljiet showed off her puffy eyes on stage. She wrote:
"Back on stage with puffy eyes."

According to a report by ETimes, Dalljiet and Nikhil were not happy for a long time. The report claimed that the estranged couple started facing trouble soon after their marriage and they realised that they were 'incompatible'. The insider told the news outlet that if they failed to sort out their differences, separation would be the only option.
The insider further claimed that the situation between them had worsened in the last two months. The source was quoted as saying:
"Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realised they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option."
For the unversed, Dalljiet shifted to Kenya after getting married to Nikhil in a grand wedding ceremony, followed by a grand reception. When the reports of Dalljiet's divorce made rounds, the actress' team realised an official statement, which could be read as:
"I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad's surgery followed by her Maa's surgery as well, which required them to be beside him. In addition to this, I would only like to say that Dalljiet, at the moment, would not like to make any comments on anything because the kids are in the picture. Please respect her kids' privacy and please consider this as the only statement she would like to give out."
For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur's separation buzz started after the actress deleted all her wedding pictures and YouTube vlogs with her husband and dropped the name 'Patel' from her IG handle. While her team refused to talk about the divorce, there were reports that claimed Dalljiet and Nikhil were incompatible, and the situation worsened in the last two months. On February 11, 2024, Dalljiet took to her IG handle, and reposted a video story by a media outlet and slammed them. She wrote:
"I never spoke to you @sbsapnews. Please do not misquote me."
