Dalljiet Kaur's new travel series is about her journey to overcome the trauma of her ugly second marriage. She revealed how they are ready to turn their bad days into happy ones by travelling.
Dalljiet Kaur had left her successful career in India to restart her life in Kenya with her second husband, Nikhil Patel, and his daughter after tying the knot. However, within eight months of marriage, Dalljiet came back to India and revealed how things had turned out ugly, and Nikhil had been denying their marriage in terms of law. After a lot of ugly blame games and hateful exchange of words, Dalljiet has been trying to rebuild herself in India, and she started a new series on her YouTube channel, My Soul In A Suitcase.
The first episode of Dalljiet Kaur's travel series is from Goa. In the video, Dalljiet shares how she and her son have been living in suitcases for the past few months. Dalljiet left Kenya with her son, Jaydon, after an ugly fight with Nikhil Patel. It happened just when Jaydon had settled into his new school in a new country. However, they have decided to turn their sad experience into a happy one by travelling across India. She said:
"My Soul In My Suitcase, hum pichle bahut mahino se, suitcase ki hi jindagi ji rahe hai. Lekin ab humne decide kra hai ki hum usi disadvantage ko advantage mein badlege, aur ab hum travel karege. Are you ready to experience with me."
Dalljeit shared two beautiful forts in Goa, which has a rich history. She also showed her viewers the unique Goan homes that the Portugese built, and it had a beautiful structure. It was during the end of the video, Dalljiet added a sneak-peak of the next episode and how she explored new places with her son, Jaydon, in Goa. She also got her identical tattoo (with estranged husband, Nikhil Patel) modified.
While talking about it, Dalljiet added that she doesn't think 'Take 2' is her loss, she called it her strength. The actress added that she has to heal her son, and they will move forward from what happened in the past. She was quoted as saying:
"Take 2 ko mai ek haar nahi maanti, Take 2 ko mai apni strength maanti hoon, and ab mai aage badhugi, mujhe apne bacho ko heal karna, apne apko bheal krna hai."

Dalljiet Kaur, who got married to Nikhil Patel in March 2023 and moved to Kenya to live with him, moved back to India with her son in January 2024. Soon, murmurs of separation made rounds on the internet. While for a few months, she kept quiet, thinking about her family's, dignity, and she finally broke her silence and revealed how her husband, Nikhil, had denied getting married to her.
In a cryptic note written in Hindi, Dalljiet penned a heartbreaking revelation. She revealed her clothes, her chooda, her mandir, everything is in Kenya at her husband's home. The clothes of her son and his books are all there, but her husband is denying them and saying they never got married. Not only this, she also questioned whether she never got married to Nikhil. However, Dalljiet soon deleted the note from her IG handle. Her note could be read as:
"Mere kapde, mera chooda, mera her samaan wahi hai, mera ghar wahi hai. Mere bacche ke kapde, kitabe aur umeed apne pita se, sab wahi hai. Mera sasural wahi hai. Mere haatho se banayi hui tasveer us diwaar par hai. Wahi hai, her diwaar par meri saare wahi hai. Pati kahe rahe hai vo mera ghar nai, kahe rahe hai shaadi kabhi hui nai. SN apka kya kehna hai, kya Nikhil mere pati hai? Kya hui nahi humari shaadi apke hisaab se bhi?"
