However, just a year later of the birth of their son, Dalljiet filed a case of divorce against Shalin on the grounds of domestic violence, and the couple was separated, with the custody of their son given to Dalljiet herself. Fast forward to 2023, Dalljiet tied the knot with UK-based businessman, Nikhil Patel, who, like herself, was also a single parent to his daughters from a previous marriage.
