The dancers lash out at US rapper, Lizzo after she denied all allegations against her of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment for her employees.
US pop star, Lizzo, who was well acclaimed for her music and being a body-positive influencer, was recently sued by her three ex-dancers for sexually harassing them and creating a hostile work environment.The singer took to her Instagram and claimed that all the accusations against her are ‘false’ and ‘sensationalised’. After this, the dancers appeared on CNN and lashed back at Lizzo for denying her deeds. The dancers even revealed they were scared that Lizzo may physically harm them.
The three dancers appeared on CNN and revealed that they were ‘disheartened’ and ‘shocked’ after Lizzo denied all the accusations against her. One of the three dancers, Crystal, spoke about how Lizzo denying the accusation deepened her disappointment regarding how she was treated. It made them feel like all their traumas were their own, and Lizzo had nothing to do with it. She further added:
“It feels like it was disregarded completely. It feels like we were made out to be putting out false allegations when that’s not the case.”

Another dancer, Adrianna, added that seeing Lizzo disregarding her actions was 'disheartening and disappointing'. The dancers also urged Lizzo to take accountability for her actions. Adrianna even emphasised how Lizzo claimed to protect and empower women in her statement, but in reality, she does precisely the opposite. She further stated:
“Where was that same sentiment when I stated to her and wanted to talk out things and saying I’m resigning because I feel unsafe, I feel unheard, I’m disrespected.”
The singer took to her Instagram and claimed that the past few days were gut-wrenching. She was very disappointed with all the false accusations from her ex-employees. She even expressed her grief on how the media has painted her as the villain over the past few days, which she is not. She further claimed that her former employees have publicly admitted that their behaviour on tour was inappropriate and unprofessional. She also thanked all her fans and friends who reached out to her during this crisis. She concluded with:
“I’m hurt but I will not let the good work I’ve done in the world be overshadowed by this”

The three dancers who sued Lizzo over multiple accusations appeared on CNN and BBC, and revealed that Lizzo's body shamed and harassed all her employees. They shared an incident where Lizzo took her dancers to a red light club and forced them to eat a banana from a female stripper’s private parts. The dancers claimed that Lizzo could even resort to physical violence against them but did not, as one of her friends held her back. They also claimed that the work environment created by Lizzo is extremely toxic.
