Since the release of Netflix’s docuseries, Beckham, the world has got to know about some previously unheard secrets of the Beckhams. The couple, David and Victoria Beckham have what we call a ‘fairytale’ love story. Even though they practically lived just 15 minutes away from each other in London, they never met until 1997.
Back in those days, Victoria was famously referred to as 'Posh Spice' from the popular music group, Spice Girls, while David was playing for Manchester United. After a brief and intense romance, they got engaged in 1998. The couple welcomed their first child the following year. In July 1999, they exchanged wedding vows in Dublin.

David Beckham always knew he would marry Victoria before they had even met in person. The former English footballer shared in the docu-series how he realised he was in love with Victoria and knew he would marry her someday. This moment took place while he and his fellow Manchester United player, Gary Neville, were watching the Spice Girls on TV. David said:
“I turned ’round to Gary and went, ‘See that one there? I’m gonna marry that one.’ We’re laughing and joking, and I’m like, ‘No. I’m gonna marry that one.’”
David's former Manchester United teammate expressed concern about David dating Victoria. He mentioned that the former football player was addicted to Victoria. Gary said:

“I didn’t care when I saw her, how much I saw her. If it was me driving down to London to see her for seven minutes, I did it.”
Further into the episode, Gary Neville said that David's exceptional talent enabled him to balance his soccer career and personal life. He said:
“David had the ability to have madness in his life, potentially, and literally an hour before kickoff, he’d switch off, and he’d switch into football mode. And he’d be on it, and he’d perform. I don’t know how he did it.”
During an episode of the Netflix documentary about David Beckham, Victoria Beckham shared an intriguing story about giving birth to their third son, Cruz, in 2005. David was unable to be there with her due to a prior work obligation, a celebrity photoshoot with A-listers like Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce. Victoria reflected on that moment, mentioning a newspaper article that featured David's photo. She said:
“So, I had my C-section, and I remember lying there, I don’t feel at my most gorgeous, let’s just say, and I remember someone showing me the front page of the newspaper, which was a gorgeous picture of David between Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé and the headline was ‘What would Posh say?’ Let me tell you what Posh would say. Posh was p****d off!”
