After Hina Khan came out with her bold revelation of being diagnosed with breast cancer, the actress reportedly lost out on a promising opportunity.
Hina Khan made headlines after she shocked everyone with the news of her being diagnosed with stage three of breast cancer. In a heartfelt post on her IG handle a few days back, the actress expressed her strength to fight against the disease and emerge stronger. More recently, Hina dropped a glimpse of her scars and shared a message of courage over everything else. However, amid all the love and well-wishes that the diva is receiving post her announcement, a recent report claims that her cancer diagnosis has impacted her career.
Well, Hina Khan’s widespread fame right after her stint in the hit daily soap, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai needs no introduction. Apart from that, Hina went onto mark her presence in a number of hit shows and movies, cementing her name for sheer versatility in her craft. Currently, the diva is going through a tough time, as she is actively going through treatment for her breast cancer diagnosis. Amid this, a recent report by Times Now Hindi claimed that Hina lost out her role in Disney+Hostar’s upcoming series called Raapchik Reeta, where she was supposed to play a lawyer. She got replaced by Adah Sharma.

Earlier today, Hina Khan dropped a few pictures of herself, amid her cancer treatment. The actress, clad in a pink tank top, proudly flaunted her short hair and scar marks on her body. Along with it, she penned a long note, expressing how she hasn’t lost her hope amid all the tough situations life has thrown in her life. She wrote:
“What do you see in this Picture? The Scars on my body or the Hope in my Eyes? The scars are mine , I embrace them with love because they’re the first sign of the Progress I deserve. The Hope in my Eyes is the reflection of my Soul, I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am manifesting my healing. And I am praying for yours too.”
On July 4, 2024, Hina Khan took to her social media handle and shared a glimpse of a heartfelt moment, wherein she chose to let go off her beautiful and voluminous tresses before they shed off due to cancer treatment. In the clip, the actress was seen taking the bold step of cutting her thick braids herself. However, what broke a million hearts was the way in which her mother could be seen weeping profusely, while she witnessed her daughter take such a bold step. In her caption, Hina revealed that she would make a wig out of her own hair that she chopped off.

In a heartbreaking social media post on June 28, 2024, Hina Khan addressed the frequent rumours about her health circulating on social media and revealed suffering from stage three of breast cancer. She added that her treatment has already begun and assured everyone that she was doing fine and emerge stronger from this tough challenge.
