Deepika Padukone was shamelessly targeted by the internet users as she chose not to wear 'mangalsutra' while visiting Siddhivinayak temple. Her fans backed the actress and schooled the trolls.
Deepika Padukone is all set to welcome her first child into the world. The actress was admitted to the hospital on September 7, 2024, and everyone is beaming with excitement about the little one's arrival in Ranveer and Deepika's lives. It was on September 6, 2024, when Deepika and Ranveer reached Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings. While everyone loved Deepika's look in a saree, a new debate was created on X (Twitter), as the actress chose not to wear mangalsutra while visiting a temple.
Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous as she opted to wear a Banarasi saree for her Siddhivinayak temple visit. The saree had boota work all over, and the tanchui works were removed to make it even lighter to carry. The saree was a gift to the actress from Anaita Shroff Adajania, and the brand was Banarasi Baithak. Along with the saree, the actress opted for a pair of earrings and finalised her look with a soft touch-up and tied-up hairdo.
After the photos and videos of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone from their recent Siddhivinayak temple visit made rounds on X (Twitter), some of the internet users started targetting the actress as she was not wearing mangalsutra, bindi, and sindoor while visiting a temple. The trolls shamelessly trolled the actress, while her fans came in her support and slammed the trolls. Deepika's fans supported her and said that it was her personal choice whether she would wear a mangalsutra, bindi, and sindoor or not.
A user meaninglessly wrote, "Her mother has really not brought her up well. Visiting a temple with husband and no mangalsutra. That when she is a Konkani. What exactly was she so busy with ?" Another user wrote, "No bindi, no sindoor, no mangal sutra… if you believe in ganeshji then follow few things with it."
Deepika's fans hit back at the trolls and wrote, "Nice to see that you had darshan of Ganpati Bappa. Some people are trolling Deepika for Bindi and Mangalsutra, I ask them whether some women are more loyal if they wear Sindoor, Bindi and Mangalsutra?? I have found the opposite in many places so I said." Such trolling on the actress, when she is about to embrace motherhood, is surely meaningless and the actress' fans remained irked by the recent debate on X about her not wearing a mangalsutra.

While people are trolling Deepika Padukone, they must have missed that the actress and her husband, Ranveer Singh, went to the temple barefoot, which proves their respect for the almighty and generosity. The actor made sure that Deepika was okay as she struggled to walk.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh met on the set of Ram Leela, and instantly hit it off. The couple started dating soon after, and it was back in 2015 when during one of their romantic vacation to Maldives, Ranveer knelt down and proposed marriage to the actress. Cut to 2018, when the duo tied the knot. And now, the adorable couple is on the verge of welcoming their little one.
