Debina Bonnerjee Opens Up About Her Breastfeeding Journey, Reveals It Hurt Her Initially

Television actress, Debina Bonnerjee opened up about her breastfeeding journey and revealed how she is dealing with post-pregnancy hormonal changes.

Debina Bonnerjee is one of the most beautiful actresses in the television industry. She has been living the most beautiful phase of her life with her husband, Gurmeet Choudhary. The much-in-love couple is enjoying their new journey as parents to its fullest. For the unversed, Debina and Gurmeet got blessed with a baby girl, Lianna Choudhary on April 3, 2022. However, their family got completed after the duo welcomed their second child, Divisha Choudhary on February 3, 2023. Being an avid social media user, the doting mommy often shares glimpses of her new life. And now, she bared her heart about her breastfeeding journey.

Debina Bonnerjee opens up about her breastfeeding journey

On May 30, 2023, Debina Bonnerjee dropped a new vlog on her YouTube channel, Debina Decodes. In the video, the actress can be seen baring her heart out about her breastfeeding journey. Talking about the same, she mentioned how beautiful pregnancy hormones are and how it changes a woman's body. She also revealed that at the time of her first child, Lianna, she was not lactating, however, with Divisha, the case was different as she started lactating and that made her feel really good. Elaborating more about it, Debina said:

"Pregnancy ka jo hormone hota hai wo kafi beautiful hota hai. So, I was pretty much enjoying it. Pregnancy ke baad bhi after Divisha I started lactating so that means the hormone was very very good in the body. Technically mai dimag se ready hi thi ki you know during Lianna, I did not lactate at all but for Divisha, I was kind of ready ki thik hai kuch bhi ho sakta hai but when I started lactating, I felt really good and the whole journey is so beautiful."

Further, in the same conversation, Debina also mentioned how the journey of breastfeeding is unpredictable. The actress also stated that initially, breastfeeding is hurtful and terrible. However, the doting mommy even said that after two months, it becomes the most beautiful journey of a mother's life. Debina also mentioned that looking at the child breastfeeding is the most valuable vision for a mother. Calling it a union of a mother and child, she said:

"Jab woh suru hota hai, it feels terrible because initially, it is very hurting, bohot dard hota hai. You get nipple soreness, the baby bites but from the end of the second month, it becomes a beautiful journey. The whole process becomes very seamless, the mother and the baby merges."

She also talks about how the baby stops taking feed from the mother after getting top feed like formula milk. Debina mentioned that after 5th month, the hormones in a woman's body start depleting, resulting in less milk formulation. The doting mommy stated that once the baby stops feeding, the woman starts feeling lonely and only some people out there can understand it. Talking about Debina's look, the actress was seen donning a blue and white-hued striped outfit which she teamed with a sleek chain, minimal makeup and a ponytail.

When Debina revealed how she's coping with stress post embracing motherhood

On March 22, 2023, Debina had taken to her IG handle and hosted a Q&A session with her fans. In the session, the actress was seen answering most of the queries of expecting women and new mommies. When one of the fans asked the actress how does she manage to cope with stress, Debina gave a beautiful reply. Since the doting mommy is currently handling two toddlers at the same time, she revealed that she tries to stay calm and not worry about things. In her words:

"I tell myself I waited this long for my babies to be with me... Now I won't let stress disturb me in any way."
