In the latest Vlog on her YouTube channel, Debina Decodes, Debina Banerjee opened up about her successful IVF journey to attain motherhood and how much it had cost her. She revealed that she had started this journey to become a mother in 2017, and starting from thinking about motherhood to visiting the doctor to conceiving Lianna was five years long. She added that at the beginning, she had tried the IUI process, however, even after trying five times, she had failed. So afterwards, the next option left to her was IVF. She said:
"I started my treatment in 2017. Initially, doctors suggested IUI. It is not a very invasive process. The fertile days are calculated and according to it doctors give a few injections. Semen analysis of the husband is also done. It did not work for me. I tried it 5 times. It was a failure. Next best option was IVF."
However, during the IVF process, she had found out that she had endometriosis and adenomyosis, which means her uterus was stuck, and with that operation, the doctors had to rectify it. For which the actress revealed that the doctors had to do a hysteroscopy on her which had cost her about Rs 75,000 to 1 lakh. After that, Debina shared that her IVF process had begun. And Debina revealed that she had to undergo the process three times for which she had to bear Rs. 1.5 Lakhs each time. She added: "During IVF, I actually found out what the problem was. I had endometriosis and adenomyosis. Before further treatment, my doctor did a hysteroscopy – a small operation. The cost depends on hospitals – starting from Rs 75,000 to 1 lakh. After beginning the IVF treatment, it is divided into two parts – the egg extraction and putting the fertilized egg back again. The first process is a bit painful and tedious. The egg extraction process takes time. Egg extraction cannot be done at once. My process happened thrice. Each process costs around Rs 1.5 lakh."

She also mentioned that since five years is a long period, she had to keep calm by reading books or listening to audiobooks. She then mentioned that she had also tried embryo transfer twice, however, nothing had helped her. And each embryo transfer costs Rs. 30,000. Finally, the doting mother, revealed that she had an IVF conception and was blessed with Lianna. She concluded: "In the process, the eggs that were formed because of the injection were a lot but when the eggs were extracted, there were only 3 and very slow moving embryos. I tried two embryo transfers and it didn’t work for me. The cost of embryo transfer is Rs 30, 000 and it also depends on the hospital. I had an IVF conception. Initially, I was scared but not anymore. I tried and after 5 years I was blessed with Lianna. The process is not cheap but it also not that expensive."
Thus, the entire process of conception cost Debina an amount of Rs. 6 Lakhs approximately. However, Lianna's arrival into Debina and Gurmeet's life is worth everything. What do you think? Next Read: Aditya Narayan's Wife, Shweta Shares A Cutesy Picture Of Their Daughter Flaunting A Baby Cap
