Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are now husband and wife to each other. The Cupid struck between the two when they met on the sets of Ram Leela, and since then have been head-over-heels in love with each other. And finally, after almost 6 years of seeing each other, DeepVeer took to the wedding vows on November 14-15, 2018 in Italy. Amidst heavy security at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, barely could anyone catch a glimpse from the wedding functions. But the wait was over finally when Deepika and Ranveer themselves shared their first official wedding photographs. These pics broke the internet as soon as they surfaced online and garnered more than a million likes in less than half-an-hour.
After every celeb wedding which takes place outside India, we are always eager for the newly-weds airport looks when they come back home. And guess what? Deepika and Ranveer are back to India and were snapped at the Mumbai international airport. Both looked extra ecstatic in their ethnic wear as they landed in their home. What caught our attention the most was Deepika’s mangalstura dangling down her dress and it looked so ethereal on her. And we couldn't help but get swayed in Ranveer's gentleness when we saw how he hugged his newbie wifey and safely escorted her away from the crowd.
Earlier, we had brought to you the story of Deepika’s mangalsutra and reportedly it costs Rs 20 lakh owing to a solitaire in it. Speaking of her bridal looks, it must be mentioned here that Deepika wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga with intricate hand-embroidery golden tilla details and she paired it with a chowki design aari-taari dupatta with a heavy border and the age-old saying ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’ written on it in Devnagri. And her wedding lehenga reportedly costs Rs 8.95 lakh. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness. Lots of love, Deepika and Ranveer.” Deepika and Ranveer have always been vocal about the love that they have for each other. In an interview, revealing the best part of Ranveer, Deepika said, “When we’re with each other, we don’t need anything or anyone else. We’re comfortable in each other’s presence. Sometimes it’s an intelligent conversation, sometimes just silence, sometimes there’s a childlike innocence and it’s about being playful. We keep each other grounded. We’re very good in that sense.” She further added, “Early in life, you view love in a certain way, that is, it is one-dimensional, just as a romantic relationship. There are no layers to it. And then as you grow and as you evolve, you realise that there’s so much more to love. There are so many different kinds of feeling and emotions associated with it. It’s multifaceted and layered. I find love fascinating because it’s no longer uni-dimensional.” Now that their wedding is done, we can’t wait for their reception. DeepVeer is hosting two reception parties, first one in Bangalore on November 21 and the second one in Mumbai on November 28. Revealing the details about the Bangalore reception, a source earlier told a media portal, “The biggest reason why Deepika chose to have the reception at the Leela, Bangalore was renowned Italian restaurant of New York, Le Cirque which goes by the name Le Cirque Signature. DP loves the restaurant in NYC and their franchise in Bengaluru drew Deepika to The Leela. Her mother has also gone food tasting 2-3 times. The food will be pre-dominantly South Indian though. They will check into the hotel on 20th and check out on 22nd.” And lastly, post their two reception ceremonies and a short honeymoon, Deepika and Ranveer will shift to a bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai. Reportedly, “Ranveer and Deepika were looking for their perfect home since quite a while and the moment they saw this property, they knew they wanted it. It’s a huge bungalow which costs Rs 50 crore approximately. They wanted the interiors more personalised so the work in that house is still on. Until then, the duo will be residing in Singh’s current residence, Shree.” (Don't Miss: Salman Khan Lashes Out At Karanvir Bohra For Teejay's Open Letter, He Apologises For Her Act [VIDEO]) After DeepVeer’s wedding photographs, we can’t stop gushing over their airport looks together after they landed Mumbai for the first time post-marriage.ADVERTISEMENT
