As per an online media portal, the couple has asked the guests invited to their Mumbai reception (to be held on November 28 at Mumbai's Grand Hyatt hotel) to direct their gifts in forms of donations supported by Deepika and Ranveer themselves.

A true Deepika fan knows that 'The Live Love Laugh Foundation' is an organisation set up by herself which deals with problems of mental health. This initiative was undertaken by Deepika after her own battle with depression. Speaking of their Mumbai reception, a report recently claimed, “The two will host a reception at Grand Hyatt on December 1. After their wedding, reportedly Ranveer is going to shift to Deepika’s Prabhadevi apartments. As per a DNA report, “Zeroing down on such an apartment isn’t an easy task and this will take some time. They don’t want to rush into choosing the property. They want to do it up completely before they move in”. The source further stated, “It’s a wise and practical decision by the duo because Deepika stays alone in Prabhadevi. And Ranveer doesn’t want her to leave the place that she has made her home over the years.”
For those who have been following the progress of DeepVeer’s wedding, you might be aware that there will be two weddings for this couple. A source told an online tabloid earlier, “Since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families decided to follow customs practised by both communities. A South Indian wedding has been planned for November 14, complete with Kannadiga rituals. The next day will see the couple solemnise their relationship as per the customs of a North Indian wedding”.
