Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are 'IT' couple of the Tinseltown. In a world that is scared of commitment and runs far away when the word 'marriage' comes, the duo has restored our faith in true love. It was six-year-ago when they were struck by Cupid and dived deep down in the pool of love. It's been more than six months since the couple tied the knot. But every time we look at them, it feels like their honeymoon phase has not gotten over yet. From calling each other with cute names to commenting on each other's social media, they are lessoning the millennials on how to stay in love.
Recently, Ranveer held an Instagram live session with his fans from London. But the highlight of the live session was Deepika's comment, who is in London and probably sitting right next to her husband. In front of millions of Ranveer's fans, the actress wrote, "Hi Daddie", with a wave, a heart, and a baby emoji. To this, the dotting husband quickly replied, "Hi baby!" And while we were taking in all the love, it was Arjun Kapoor, who added more spark to the conversation with his comment, "Baba bhabhi is gonna give u one." Take a look at their conversation below:
This isn't the first time, Deepika had called Ranveer with a cute name. The actress has been an ace in giving names and on her husband's birthday, she had bombarded him with cute names. She had posted a childhood picture of Ranveer, and captioned it as "Sensitive and emotional, caring and compassionate, generous and gentle, funny and intelligent, delightful and faithful...all this and so much more. To my husband, my friend, my lover, my confidante. But more often than not, my child, my infant, my toddler, my dot, my pineapple, my sunshine, my rainbow. May you forever and always be this way. After marriage, Deepika and Ranveer's relationship has blossomed and grown even further. In an interview with Femina, Ranveer had spilt the details about the same, and had shared, "t has only gotten better. Now, we’re cocooned in love, and there is no space for doubt or misgiving. It’s grounded-ness, centred-ness, security, warmth, and joy. We share experiences and laugh together. The added security that comes with marriage has allowed our relationship to blossom further."
Ranveer had also revealed Deepika's other side that is known to only a few, and had said, "There is a child-like quality to her that nobody other than me has the privilege of seeing. It’s a precious part of my life."
On the other hand, Deepika had talked about Ranveer in detail with GQ magazine. She had revealed, "I think you just know when you want to spend the rest of your life with that one person – and he’s everything rolled into one man. He’s my best friend, playmate, companion and confidant. I can be silly in front of him, I can be stupid in front of him, I can be sick in front of him, I can be whatever I want to be."
In the same interview, she had talked about Ranveer and how he is as a person. She had said, "He is vulnerable, extremely emotional, very intelligent; childlike at times. That's not to say that his irrepressible energy isn't him, it's very him. He's a real people's person, but there's a quiet side to him too."
