Throwback to the then-newly-married Deepika Padukone, who had flaunted her wedding gift from her in-laws enroute her trip to Tirupati with hubby, Ranveer Singh on their first wedding anniversary.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the most sought-after couples in Bollywood. The duo never skips a chance to paint the town red with their mushy romance and fun PDA, which shed pure couple goals every time. For the unversed, Ranveer and Deepika tied the knot on November 14, 2019 in a lavish yet secretive destination wedding in Italy’s scenic, Lake Como. The duo had taken their vows first in a traditional Punjabi Anand Karaj ceremony, followed by a Konkani wedding ceremony.
A year later, in 2020, Deepika and Ranveer had left everyone in awe with their stunning looks while enroute their visit to the holy Tirupati Temple in Chennai, as they marked their first anniversary as husband and wife. For their visit, Ranveer looked handsome in a gold-hued heavily embroidered sherwani and teamed it with a matching pyjama and a scarlet red-hued doshala placed on his shoulders. On the other hand, Deepika looked every bit of royalty in a red and gold-hued banarasi silk saree from the shelves of the ace-designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Incidentally, the eye-candy attire donned by Deepika was actually a wedding present given to her by Ranveer’s parents. One can get a glimpse of the same from one particular picture of the duo’s Konkani wedding where Deepika could be spotted holding that particular saree on her lap as a part of the gifts, she received during the wedding rituals. This indeed proved that Deepika is a doting daughter-in-law.
Deepika and Ranveer try to keep their relationship as real as possible, a fact that makes them perfectly compatible to one another. With having completed more than four years of togetherness, they understand one another quite perfectly and have made peace with each other’s distinct personalities. The Ramleela actress once candidly spoke about her married life with hubby, Ranveer Singh, in an interview with Film Companion and highlighted how they manage to resolve their fights. She mentioned:
“Of course, at times there are battles where he would win and I have to say ‘Ok fine, take this one’, and there are times when I say something and I am very firm about my belief and he says 'okay I disagree with you but I think ok' We have those moments too.”
Both Deepika and Ranveer have been each other's biggest cheerleaders since day one, and they are each other's strong pillars of strength. Be it happy or disturbing times, one can find them both sticking together no matter what. Deepika once spilt beans on the same in an interview with Pinkvilla, and praised her hubby, Ranveer Singh to be always being supportive of all her endeavours. In her words:
"He's always been supportive of my work and it's actually a bit strange because when we met, we were doing films together and then, his first film post-Padmaavat was actually Gully Boy. So it felt different for me to be like 'Okay, now you're doing a film and I'm not in it' and then, I had a release in which he wasn't there. So it took some time to get used to that because our first interaction with each other was as co-stars. It took us a while to disconnect from that and be able to understand each other as actors, without being in that film."

Apart from their perfectly enviable romantic moments, Ranveer and Deepika are known to be quite an active and enthusiastic couple whose funny gestures and anecdotes in public simply melt the hearts of their fans. Proof of the same was found during the former’s social media interaction with his fans over a QnA session, where he heaped praises on his wifey’s amazing cooking skills. Well, it happened that when a fan asked him whether he relishes the food made by Deepika, he answered it as:
“Love it! She's an amazing cook! My multi-talented baby @deepikapadukone."
