Famous wedding videomaker revealed some details about the most beautiful weddings of much-loved celebrity couples, Virat-Anushka and Deepika-Ranveer.
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh's weddings were straight out of a fairytale novel. Both of the couples got married in Italy in close-knit ceremonies. Deepika and Ranveer decided to share their wedding video five years after their wedding, and there was not a single person who wasn't emotional seeing it. Virat and Anushka, too, won the hearts with their oh-so-magical photos and clips from their wedding. Now, their wedding photographer has shared some details about these couples' dreamy ceremony.
Recently, Vishal Punjabi, aka ‘The Wedding Filmer’ walked down the memory lane and recalled creating magical wedding videos for Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh. Vishal said that these couples' weddings could have been grand, but they wanted it to happen privately.

He added that only 150 guests were there at Deepika and Ranveer's wedding ceremony, which took place at Lake Como. The videographer also added that although their wedding was super expensive, Deepika and Ranveer wanted no viral content out of it. Hence, they shared their video five years later. Vishal also added that it was a bit challenging to shoot Deepika's wedding video, as she is the most glamourous actress, whom the man behind the lens had to present more gloriously. Vishal stated:
"Then you have the Deepika Padukone wedding; beautiful, a love marriage, intimate, only 150 people at Lake Como… It’s hard, it’s expensive. Imagine, I was holding on to that video and I couldn’t show it to anybody."
In the same interview, Vishal stated that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding was extremely beautiful, and only 40 people took part in it, including the couple's parents, makeup artists, and the men behind the lenses.
"Fifty people in Como is doable. That’s what Virat Kohli did. Cricket is a religion in India, and he’s a god. He and Anushka got married in Tuscany. It was really beautiful. The closest family and friends, only 40 of them, including mum, dad, makeup artists and us."
Vishal called Virat a 'God' and mentioned that it was like a bubble, wherein Virat and Anushka were getting married without any disturbance from the outer world. He also called Virat and Anushka's wedding magical and revealed his encounter with Barack Obama. Vishal said:
They smashed the wedding. It was the most beautiful wedding ever. No one troubled them. It was like someone had put a bubble around that place, and they could just be. They had the most magical wedding ever. As I was checking in, Barack Obama was checking out; it was a really cool and exclusive and beautiful property.”
Going forward in the interview, Vishal Punjabi added that he had not covered any such celebrity wedding that had more than 100 guests, and not every celebrity wants to go viral with the most amazing day of their lives. Vishal added the highest amount he received was Rs. 3 crore and it took place for 35 days, had 42 outfits involved, and was spread in 4 countries.
Virat and Anushka dated for several years, but kept their personal lives under wraps. It was in 2017 when the couple got married. In 2021, the duo welcomed their baby girl, Vamika into their lives. And in February 2024, Anushka and Virat's family was completed with their baby boy, Akaay.
