Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous as she slipped into a green-toned Banarsai saree as she visited Siddhivinayak temple barefoot with her husband, Ranveer Singh. The saree had golden work all over, and tasel detailing in the pallu. Well, let us tell you that this piece was a gift to the actress from the famous fashion designer, Anaita Shroff Adajania, who sourced this Vintage revival piece from the brand, Banarasi Baithak.

Taking to their IG handle, the brand, Banarsai Baithak shared some details about Deepika Padukone's green-toned Banarasi saree. The saree was created from the inspiration of an over one-hundred-year-old Banarasi saree, which was also green. Crafted by Benaras' master weaver, Deepika's saree came along with the boota designs, and the tanchui details were removed from it, so it became lighter for the actress to carry.

The Banarasi saree took six months to prepare and Anaita Shroff Adajania ensured of the fact that the saree stayed untouched by scissors and remained a symbol of 'ever-after'. The reason behind the saree's pretty colour was that it symbolises fertility and auspicious growth. Well, the mum-to-be's pregnancy glow in this vintage revival piece was increased, and she looked no less than a dream.

Deepika Padukone never skips a chance to take the trend to the next level with her desi fashion. The same happened again when she appeared at Anant Ambani's wedding, wearing two traditional outfits. For the wedding, the actress donned a red-hued salwar suit from Torani and looked the prettiest. She teamed her dress with a necklace made of white sapphires and rubies.

The huge centrepiece of the necklace featured a Timur ruby, and the choker originally belonged to the Sikh empire. For those who don't know, Deepika's antique necklace was actually a bajuband, which was earlier worn by Maharaja Ranjit Singh. There's no denying the fact that mum-to-be Deepika pulled off each style with utmost fgrace, and her glow was simply unmissable.
