Deepika Padukone's Trainer Reveals The Actress Worked Out Almost Every Day During Her Last Trimester

Deepika Padukone's trainer, Anushka Parwani revealed details about the actress' exercise routine during her pregnancy that helped her to deliver a healthy baby.

Currently, she is enjoying the most beautiful phase of her life, i.e., motherhood. For the unversed, Deepika, along with her husband, Ranveer welcomed their little one on the second day of the Ganesh puja on September 8, 2024. Well, the actress' trainer recently revealed the kind of pregnancy exercise Deepika had adopted, that led her to deliver a healthy baby.

Deepika Padukone's trainer reveals how the actress constantly works on her athletic body

In an interview with India Today, Deepika Padukone's trainer, Anshuka Parwani talked about the actress' pregnancy exercise routine. The trainer revealed that she first met Deepika during Covid virtually, as she had to train her for a movie, and then on the sets in person. Anushka added that Deepika has an athletic body, and she constantly works on the same. Deepika's trainer can be quoted as saying:

"The one thing that’s been consistent with her from then to now is that she has an athletic body that she consistently works upon. When I met her for the first time in the workshop, she did an independent headstand because all this while I was only training her online; so that was indeed commendable.”

Going further in the interview, Deepika Padukone's trainer talked about her pregnancy exercise routine. The trainer revealed that the actress has been practising yoga for a long time, and for the same reason, the body rhythm comes to her very naturally, and she makes it look like she's doing everything effortlessly. Anushka also added that to witness the actress doing her exercise itself is inspiring. She also added how Deepika's pregnancy exercise journey has been fun. She added:

"The approach with her has always been very holistic - focusing on strength, endurance and stamina. Working out during her pregnancy has been just so much fun.”

In the same interview, Deepika's trainer revealed that pre-natal workouts can even get harder as the individual would be carrying a baby, so she has to work even more. Talking about Deepika, her trainer added that the actress continued to work on her physical and mental health. She revealed that the actress worked out almost every day during her last trimester. Sharing more about the same, the trainer revealed:

"But, with the kind of awareness Deepika has, through the pregnancy, it’s been a breeze because we were working out almost every other day. During her last trimester, we worked out almost every day. The whole process was very enjoyable. There were some days we felt like just doing a restoration class while there were other days where we focused on strength. Deepika and I would come up with new sequences together and with a lot of communication and trust, we managed to have a healthy baby there.”

Deepika's trainer further added that the actress had been doing yoga even before she was pregnant, and the former had been working with the newbie mom for a long, which made the entire process easier. The trainer shared how practicing yoga actually helps to cope up with the challenges, and changes one has to go with during pregnancy like weight gain, emotions, changes in the body, and more.

Deepika Padukone's trainer talks about the plans for the actress' post-natal workout

Deepika Padukone's trainer, Anshuka Parwani was asked about the plans for the actress' post-natal workout. She shared that neither two bodies of pre-natal and post-natal periods are the same, nor can they be reformed in the same way. Anushka added that they would have to plan it depending on whether the actress had a normal or C-section delivery and also after the green signals from the doctors. She added that for post-natal workouts, the first three months go slowly, and it's in the fourth month that one can start working out on their body goals.
