While some were left in awe after hearing about their love story, others picked a way to troll Deepika and her choices. Despite all the hey-say, it was Deepika and Ranveer's wedding video that gained major traction. We also noticed how Deepika's wedding look had an uncanny resemblance with her look in the film, Padmaavat.
For her Sindhi wedding, Deepika picked a red-toned Sabyasachi lehenga, which had heavy embroidery all over it and a matching dupatta. However, it was the Hindu blessing, 'Sada Saubhagywati Bhava' written in Devanagari, which caught everyone's attention. Another highlight of Deepika's look was her huge kundan choker, a maang teeka and a nath. It made her look nothing less than a maharani.

While scrolling though our IG feed, we noticed that Deepika's Sindhi wedding look with Ranveer was inspired by her style in the film, Padmaavat. In fact, the lehenga Deepika wore in the last sequence of the film, looked exactly like her wedding lehenga. She wore a heavy emerald choker that looked the same as her wedding day jewellery.
On the Koffee With Karan 8, Deepika and Ranveer left their millions of fans in awe by sharing their emotional wedding video for the first time. The clip was re-shared by their wedding photographers. The video began with Ranveer raising a toast at his wedding and shared that he had once declared that he would marry Deepika Padukone, and the day had arrived.
The video further shared adorable moments of Ranveer fixing Deepika's makeup. The doting husband expresses his infinite love for his lady just moments before getting married. On the other hand, Deepika also shared what attracted her towards Ranveer. For the unversed, Deepika and Ranveer's wedding video was shot by The Wedding Filmers, who shot the wedding sequence in Deepika Padukone's hit film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
