Deepika Padukone's trainer, Anshuka, shared glimpses of her fit self during pregnancy and how she took care of her.
Deepika Padukone's pregnancy ignited a lot of trolling. People questioned her absence from the media and even claimed that she was faking her baby bump, just because she was wearing high heels while carrying her baby bump beautifully. However, it was in the nth month when Deepika shut the naysayers with her bold maternity photoshoot. Now, her trainer shared a glimpse into her prenatal fitness journey.
On September 15, 2024, Deepika's yoga instructor, Anshuka, took to her Instagram handle and posted two photos taken during the actress' pregnancy. Deepika was dressed in black athleisure wear, and her bump was clearly visible. Another highlight was Deepika's pregnancy glow. Along with it, Anshuka talked about Deepika's beautiful prenatal yoga, which she followed during the nine months.
Deepika maintained her fitness all throughout her pregnancy, and which made many think that she wasn't pregnant. Anshuka revealed that the actress followed a routine of breathing exercise, stretching and asanas that prepared her for the the special phase. The trainer further shared how Deepiak remained positive, committed and trusted in the process. She wrote:
"A beautiful 9-months of prenatal-yoga with @deepikapadukone and this journey with you has been nothing short of beautiful. Guiding you through every breath, stretch, and asana as you prepared for this special chapter has been an incredible honor. Your commitment, positivity and trust in the process have truly shone through, and I’m so proud to have been a part of this journey."
Anshuka further hailed Deepika and expressed how proud she is off her. She also wished her happiness for the new beginnings and to witness the magic of motherhood. She concluded her note by writing:
"DP Today, my heart is full as I celebrate you and your beautiful healthy, happy baby. Here’s to new beginnings, endless love, and the magic of motherhood! Blessed to be a part of this transformative experience."
Deepika Padukone has been a fitness enthusiast, and during her pregnancy, she started her prenatal yoga journey to stay healthy. On July 3, 2024, Deepika took to her Instagram handle and shared a post. In the picture, the mommy-to-be was lying on a mat with her leg up the wall, showing off her baby bump. Deepika wore a fitted black-hued tank top with a matching pair of trousers.
For those who don't know, the pose Deepika was seen pulling is called Viparita Karani Aasan. For pregnant women, this aasan helps relieve aching muscles, joints, and swollen ankles and feet. Deepika, in her long note, revealed that the pose also helps reduce pressure on the lower back and relieves feelings of heaviness and fatigue.
In her note, Deepika also addressed how she loves a good workout. She added that she works out to feel fit and not just look good. The mom-to-be also highlighted how she cannot work out anymore, so she practices prenatal yoga. She had written:
"I love a good workout. I don’t work out to ‘look good’ but to ‘feel fit’. Exercise has been part of my lifestyle for as long as I can remember. However, when I can’t fit in a workout, I practice this simple 5-minute routine. I do this every day, whether I work out or not. It’s especially useful after a long flight or just to decompress."
According to the latest developments, Deepika and her newborn baby girl got discharged on September 15, 2024. Ranveer took his wife, Deepika and his baby girl home. The first thing Deepika did after getting discharged was to change her Instagram bio to her daughter's daily schedule, and it proves how Deepika is enjoying the nesting process. She wrote:
"Feed.Burp.Sleep.Repeat."
