Television actress, Deepika Singh has been badly criticised and trolled for posting a series of pictures and video dancing with a tree uprooted by cyclone Tauktae. This is a crucial time for the country as we are trying to curb the second wave of COVID-19 and amidst it, the cyclone Tauktae has done maximum damage. The effects of it can be majorly seen in Gujarat and the neighbouring states of Maharashtra.

Deepika first shared a dancing in the rain video with an uprooted tree in the backdrop. In the video, we can see Deepika wearing a colourful strappy dress and was seen dancing her heart out. She captioned it as "Bola tha na life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s learning to dance in the rai."

However, despite facing a lot of backlash with her first post, Deepika Singh shared a series of pictures, which were clicked by her hubby, Rohit Raj Goyal. In the pictures, we can see Deepika posing on the uprooted tree by cyclone Tauktae. Along with it, she wrote, "You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself, embrace nature and it’s gloomy moods because the storm will pass. Ps: This tree fell right outside my house nobody got hurt, but while putting it away from my door, Rohit and I managed to take few pictures to remember the." And she was criticised badly for her decision by netizens.

One user wrote, "Don’t you think you are setting a wrong example here? The tree is fallen and you have gone out just to click a picture? Don’t you think it is stupidity?" Another wrote, "Tumhare ghar ki chat sahi salamat hai isiliye." A third user commented, "People are dying in cyclone.. people like you enjoying this, what a shame." Yet another added, "I wish I had her motivation to dress up, put on ear rings, make up, and let my hair down to move a fallen tree. I went in a loose tee and torn pyjamas with my hair tied up, to move a part of a tree that had fallen on our car. Best, I didn't take my phone cuz it'd get wet."

In an interview with The Times of India, Deepika had revealed that her hubby, Rohit has always supported her. She had stated that her husband, Rohit, has undoubtedly been her support system and her Kawach. She had also shared that her husband loves writing scripts and was working on a film. Deepika's husband, Rohit, had left his work to take care of their baby so that Deepika can pursue her dream. The actress had said, "He was also doing the show Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan but left for some reasons, and I learnt of it three days later after he stopped going for work. He told me that our baby would have been alone with both parents working and decided to stay back home."
