Designer Bride Wore A Pastel-Hued Peacock Motif Patterned Lehenga On Her Wedding Day

This bride created a realm of unique but exceptional lookbooks on her wedding ceremonies, but her big day's outfit from Rimple and Harpreet stole the show!

Shaadi season means flaunting some of the most trendy wedding outfits! Times are gone when a to-be-bride nodded to every decision that her family took. Now, every bride has her own opinion and wants to decide what's best for her on her own. That includes designer clothes, destination wedding, lavish decors, trendy jewellery pieces, be it a statement sheesh patti or a haath phool or a floral kaleera. Once she has ticked off all her desired lookbooks, finally, a bride gives the green signal!

When somebody says bridal fashion designer, there are a few names that pop in our heads. And, the ace-fashion designer duo, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, is one of them. They are known for their intricate patterns, craftsmanship, beautiful embroidery, unique colour palettes and many more to the list. A fashion designer has that power to give a bride her fairytale wedding with a few crystals, a little bit of sequins and a pinch of magic dust, and voila! A bride is ready to dazzle at her own wedding!

Meet the bride

The bride, Mehak Suri, had opted for Rimple and Harpreet's couture for her big day and mesmerised us with her amazing look! There was grandeur decor and gorgeous lighting, but we couldn't take our eyes off the bride, and it's guaranteed that neither the guests at her wedding could have.

The bride, Mehak had worn a pastel pink-coloured lehenga choli with intricately designed embroidery work done all over it by Rimple and Harpreet. The long trailed lehenga with heavily stitched embellishments was a stunner! The beauty of the couture had lied in the patterns and motifs embroidered on the lehenga choli. It had ducks, birds but mostly peacocks using blue, red and white threads, resham, zari and sequins.

She had paired the wedding outfit with a coordinated dupatta embroidered with patch motifs and buti work all over it. The dupatta had a scallop patterned hemline that had enhanced her look even more. The bride had opted for a champagne-coloured glittery shadow with brownish smokey eyes, thick lashes, defined brows, blushed cheeks and glossy pink lips. But we couldn't miss out on Mehak's bridal glow.

This newly-wedded bride had chosen polki jewellery to accentuate her look on her big day. She had worn a choker along with a heavy neckpiece adorned with seafoam green coloured stones and white stones and had paired it with jhumkas, maang teeka, sheesh patti, haath phool, chooda, kaleere and nath. She had looked nothing less than a royal bride!

Her then-groom-to-be had complemented his then would-be-bride with perfection. He had worn an ivory coloured bandhgala sherwani suit, which was self-embroidered with silver thread. The groom, Shivang had paired his look with a pagdi, an embroidered doshala and a three-tier polki neckpiece.

Mehendi in neon shades

The then-bride-to-be, Mehak had stunned everyone on her mehendi ceremony as she walked in a metallic neon shaded mermaid cut lehenga choli from Suneet Varma collection. Mehak had donned a lehenga with multiple hues including neon pink, orange, blue and purple with a metallic shimmery shade embellished in geometric patterns. The choli had a gorgeous floral patch on one side of the sleeve, giving an edge to the whole look.

She had completed it with a floral motif patterned kundan jewellery set, including a choker piece, studs and a maang teeka. She had kept her hair open in beach curls and had opted for minimal makeup. Mehak had let her outfit do the talking. Shivang had also looked handsome in a royal blue kurta set and had paired it with a sequinned overcoat.

Haldi in pastel

Haldi rasam is one of the most fun wedding events. The bride and the groom, along with all the family members, get drenched in haldi. The bride had chosen a pastel shade for her haldi. She had worn a lime yellow and powder blue coloured sharara suit with embroidery detail, designed by Tanieya Khanuja. She had paired her look with floral jewellery pieces and traditional kaleere.

To complete the look, Mehak had kept her hair in a fishtail braid to keep it fuss-free and had mesmerised everyone with her glow and minimal makeup. The fresh floral carnations had added an extra spice to the look. 

Sufi in sharara

At the sufi night, Mehak had looked absolutely gorgeous in a royal blue and golden resham embroidered sharara with a peplum cut kurta from Suneet Varma's collection. The outfit had heavy embroidery work and the bride had completed the look with a diamond and ruby stone adorned jewellery set, including a broad choker, a pair of long earrings, a maang teeka and a passa

To amp up her look a little bit, the bride had opted for smokey dark-kohled eyes with winged liner, blushed cheeks and nude lips. She had rounded off her look with a bun and a royal blue-coloured sheer dupatta.

Royal reception night

The reception look was a game changer! The long trailed red gown, those embellished details, that gorgeous plunging neckline, the sequinned and embroidered veil, and that stunning crown- Mehak walked like a queen from fairytale pages, along with her knight in shining armour. It doesn't need any introduction as the outfit is speaking about her designer, but let us do the honours to announce that this mesmerising piece was from the Manish Malhotra collection. 

Mehak had completed the look with a diamond jewellery set, including a neckpiece, a pair of danglers, haath phool and choodas. Her blushed pink makeover was apt for it! Well, the groom had looked quite the dapper himself in a black tuxedo suit with metallic finished bow-tie, and a red rose was pinned on his coat to accentuate the whole look.
