Sonakshi Sinha has been hitting the headlines with her professional as well as with her personal life. The actress was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, and for the same, she bagged a lot of appreciation. Talking about her personal life, the actress has been speculated to be dating her Double XL co-actor, Zaheer Iqbal. While reports have been rife that Sonakshi and Zaheer might have been dating, they continued to debunk such claims and have always tagged each other as their BFFs. However, a recent report suggested otherwise, as it mentioned that Sonakshi is all set to get married to Zaheer. And now, we stumbled upon some deets about the same.
As per a recent report by the Hindustan Times, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have been together for two years now, and they have finally decided to take the plunge. According to a source, the wedding will take place at the South Mumbai eatery, Bastian, on June 23, 2024, followed by a reception party at night. Ahead of that, there will be a celebration at their family home on June 22, 2024, which will be attended by close friends and family members. The source added:
"There will be a celebration on June 22 as well at their family home in Juhu. Only close friends and family are invited for this function. The wedding will take place on the morning of June 23 while the reception will take place at night."

As per the source, the couple has moved in a while ago, and they have the blessings of their families to embark on this new journey of their lives. The source also added that the wedding is going to be a private affair, which will be graced by the couple's friends and family members. The source revealed:
"Sonakshi and Zaheer moved in together a while ago. The soon-to-be bride and groom have the blessings of their families. The wedding is going to be an intimate affair, with only the couple’s families and close friends in attendance. Sonakshi doesn't want to give out much details of her wedding before it happens and wants to keep it just in her close circle. Many of her actor friends will also be marking their presence to be a part of the most special day for the couple."
According to the source, Sonakshi and Zaheer had been planning the wedding for a long time, and they were waiting for the election to be over as the actress' father was busy with the election. For the uninitiated, Shatrughan Sinha was contesting for TMC, from Asansol, West Bengal, and he won, which will make the celebration double joyous.
Earlier, a report by India Today revealed that the much-in-love couple, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer will tie the knot on June 23, 2024. According to the sources, the invitation card was made like a magazine cover and upon it, there was a note, which could be read as "The rumours are true." The couple also even requested their guests to wear informal clothes to their wedding.

While being on Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, the comedian asked Sonakshi about her marriage plans. The comedian said Alia Bhatt got married and Kiara Advani got married. He then changed the question and stated, "Is your character in Heeramandi, positive or negative?" To this, Sonakshi wittily added:
"Bas aap jale pe namak daal rahe ho na. Wo janta hai mujhe kitne zor se shaadi karni hai. Heeramandi bhi khatam ho gayi, meri shaadi nahi huyi.”
