Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's divorce reports have been making headlines since the start of the week. Despite the intense scrutiny and comments, it's intriguing that Yuzvendra and Dhanashree have chosen to remain silent on the matter, focusing on their professional commitments and not letting the rumours affect their work. While the couple has not yet confirmed the divorce buzz, their silence has only added to the intrigue, leaving their fans eager for updates. Now, Dhanashree made her first public appearance since the divorce murmurs caught traction.
Dhanashree looked confident but sad as she was papped for the first time since her divorce rumours with cricketer husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, surfaced on the internet. For the day, the dancer was dressed in a black bodycon midi dress paired with a white crop jacket. She completed her look with subtle makeup and pink glossy lips, leaving her lustrous long tresses open.
As Dhanashree came out of the car, she was greeted by the shutterbugs. She politely talked to them and posed. However, they chased her inside the building. Initially she posed for a few photos but later asked them to stop recording and said, 'bass'. The shutterbugs then respected her wish and left the venue. Although Dhanashree looked confident, she seemed a bit off on her first appearance amid the divorce buzz with Chahal.
Yuzvendra Chahal, the Indian cricketer, was a few days back spotted on the sets of Bigg Boss 18 on January 10, 2025. He was papped to be a part of the Weekend Ka Vaar special with Salman Khan, a popular segment of the show where celebrities often make guest appearances. In the clip, we can see Yuzvendra rushing to his vanity. He was dressed up in a black-hued baggy t-shirt with baggy blue jeans. He was also clicked with fellow cricketers, Shreyas Iyer and Shashank Singh.
On January 9, 2025, Yuzvendra Chahal took to his Instagram handle to share a significant Instagram story. This post came after almost four days of divorce rumours surrounding his relationship with Dhanashree. In the post, the cricketer expressed his gratitude to his fans for their unwavering support and hinted that his 'journey is far from over'.
"I am grateful to all my fans for their unwavering love and support without which, I wouldn't have come this far. But this journey is far from OVER."
In a pun, Yuzvendra further added that there are still many 'overs' left to deliver for his country. He called himself a proud brother, son and friend. Let us remind you that he didn't call himself a 'husband' and didn't even mention his wife, Dhanashree's name once. He also talked about his well-wishers' curiosity about recent events in his life and highlighted that he had seen the posts, which may or may not be true. Yuzvendra requested his fans not to indulge in these speculations. He wrote:
"As there are still many overs left to deliver for my country, my team, and for my fans. While I am proud to be a sportsman. I am also a son, a brother, and a friend. I understand the curiosity surrounding the recent events, particularly about my personal life. However, I have noticed certain post speculating on matters that may or may not be true.
