Bollywood's veteran actor, Dharmendra, penned a thank you note for his son, Sunny Deol, as he took him out for a beautiful vacation in the hills. It is the first time, we have stumbled upon their beautiful bond off the camera. The father-son duo was seen enjoying the scenic view of Himachal Pradesh and bonding on a cold winter day.
For the uninitiated, Dharmendra had tied the knot with Prakash Kaur in 1957 when she was just nineteen years old. Dharmendra Deol is the perfect example of a loving daddy. He loves all his kids equally. However, his relationship was strained with his eldest son, Sunny Deol, who became distant after Dharmendra had decided to get married to Hema Malini.

On November 21, 2021, Dharmendra took to his Instagram handle and posted a picture with Sunny. In the photo, we can see Dharmendra and Sunny laughing their heart out as they pose for the camera. Alongside it, Dharmendra penned a heartfelt note, wherein he bared his heart on his son is trying to open up.
"Friends, I am extremely happy. My darling son took me for a holiday to beautiful Himachal . Lovely trip, A shy and introvert Sunny is opening up and getting friendly to his old papa."
On September 1, 2021, Dharmendra's first wife, Prakash had celebrated her birthday, and her children had made it special in their sweet way. Her elder son, Sunny Deol, had shared a rare picture with her and had written, "Happy Birthday Mama".
Earlier, in a rare interview with Stardust, Prakash had shared that she gave her kids the best upbringing. She had said:
"I may not be very educated, nor I am very pretty but, in the eyes of my children, I am the best woman on earth. Similarly, my children are to be the best bachche in the world. I know my children very well since I have brought them up. And I can say with confidence that none of my children will hurt anyone."
On the work front, Dharmendra is busy shooting for Karan Johar's film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani!
