Bollywood veteran actor, Dharmendra's cryptic post on distance in a relationship, leaves his die-hard fans worried.
Dharmendra is known for his extraordinary contribution to Hindi cinema. His super hits films made him attain an important place in Bollywood, and his notable work is still etched in his die-hard fans, who always hail him and his sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. Recently, Dharmendra's cryptic post on distance in relationships left his fans extremely worried.
On March 5, 2025, Dharmendra took a photo of himself to his Instagram handle and shared it. In the photo, he was dressed up in a brown-toned sweatshirt and pants with a velvet scarf. He seemed worried as he was lost in his thoughts, and his unkempt beard further shows how he has not been taking care of himself.
However, it was his cryptic note that talks about the distance of heart in relationship, which is only increasing and the misunderstandings in his life, that raised eyebrows. His note can be read as:
"Dooriyan Dillon mein badti hi ja rahi hain….. kab mile ga Chhutkara… in ghalat fahimiyon se."
Soon the post went viral, and his die-hard fans ran to his comments section to know about her well-being. One user wrote, "Irony of life Sir, acche dilwalon ko aksar galat samjha jaata hai…" Another one commented, "Oh paaji kitthe khoye huwe ho tusi aap ke chehre pe sirf muskan achchi lagti he chal muskurado ab." A third user penned, "Can’t see you sad Sir ji hope everything works out and we see you smile. Lots of live and respect."
Dharmendra is a sensitive man who cares highly about his family's emotions. In 2023, he had publically apologised to his daughter, Esha Deol, and his wife, Hema Malini post his grandson's wedding. It looked as if Hema Malini and her daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, were deeply hurt by some of Dharmendra's actions during the same time.
Karan Deol's grand wedding in Mumbai, which was attended by his first wife, Prakash Kaur's family. Post it, Dharmendra penned a public apology for Hema Malini. He also addressed Esha, Ahana and Hema and shared how much he loves and respects them. He added that he should have spoken to them personally and put a folded hand emoji. He wrote:
"Esha, Ahana, Hema all my darling kids and loving Takhtani’s Vohra’s l love you and respect you all from the core of my heart, age and illness is telling upon me I could have spoken personally to to you. but (folded hand emoji)."
It was in the '70s when a married Dharmendra fell head-over-heels in love with Hema Malini. While Hema Malini was not ready to ruin the trajectory of a family and maintained a distance from Dharmendra, he wooed her and showed that he is the one for her. Over the years, Hema Malini never once disturbed the lives of his first wife, Prakash Kaur and their kids.
