The Ambani family has a longstanding connection with this ancestral property, which dates back over a century. If the reports are to be believed, Ambanis originally rented a portion of the property in the early 1900s before eventually purchasing it in 2002. Talking about the remarkable two-story mansion, which was transformed into a memorial back in 2011, has witnessed multiple renovations and modifications in recent decades.

However, keeping the history of the place absolutely intact, the Ambanis have successfully preserved the mansion's original architectural features, which pay homage to Dhirubhai Ambani’s memories. As of now, the memorial area now showcases a splendid display of brass-copper utensils, wooden furniture, and various other artefacts that speak volumes about the family's opulent cultural heritage.

The Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial House has been separated into two sections, with one portion designated for private usage. However, the remaining part of the house is accessible to the public. As per the reports, the private part of the property is still frequently visited by Dhirubhai Ambani’s wife, Kokilaben Ambani. Just like the property, the lush green garden has also been divided into three distinct areas, a public space and two private sections. Visitors can explore and appreciate the house's public areas and indulge in the garden's serene atmosphere while respecting the Ambani family's privacy in their designated spaces.

The Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial House is spread across 1.2 acres

The private courtyard has undergone restoration while preserving its original charm. The Ambanis have made some enhancements to keep the majestic essence of the building unharmed. Not only this, the original trees of the coconut palm grove have been restored and are complemented with a pathway.

At night, the coconut palm grove is one of the most beautiful parts of the property. In addition, the original walls and plants have been saved and reinstated. During the upgradation process, the Ambanis left some walls in their original condition to keep the originality of their house. The property is spread across 1.2 acres of land.

Ticket price to get an entry inside The Dhirubhai Ambani Memorial House

Talking about the timings and ticket prices of The Dhirubhai Memorial House, it remains closed on Mondays. However, from Tuesday to Sunday, the memorial house welcomes the public from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, offering an opportunity to explore its rich heritage. As per recent reports, visitors must pay an entry fee of just Rs. 2 to grant access inside Mukesh Ambani’s ancestral home.

This nominal fee allows individuals to experience the historical significance of the property that means so much to the Ambanis and is also the birthplace of Dhirubhai Ambani. When Mukesh Ambani and his family announced that they were opening the doors of their ancestral home to the public, they received a lot of praise for their beautiful gesture. It was back in 2011 when they announced that they were providing this unique opportunity for visitors to understand and appreciate the contributions of one of India's iconic business figures, Dhirubhai Ambani.
