Dia Mirza resumed work after her son, Avyaan Azad Rekhi's birth. As she stepped out for the first time, she penned a note calling those 4 hours difficult for her.
Motherhood comes with lots of emotions and the strongest one is to be with your child every second so that you can protect and nurture them without a miss. Every time you have to leave your baby at home, it breaks your heart a little. However, stepping out for the first time comes with a big heartache for every new mommy. Dia Mirza is one of them as she stepped out for work for the first time after the birth of her baby boy, Avyaan Azad Rekhi.
It was after four months of Avyaan’s birth that Dia Mirza had revealed the face of her son on her IG handle. Dia had surprised everyone by sharing the picture of her prince. The picture with a pencil sketch had featured little Avyaan sleeping in his mom's arms. Atop the picture, Dia had written, ''Our story has only just begun Avyaan 15.09.2021.''

Dia Mirza has been spending time with her baby boy, Avyaan, and finally, after four months of his birth, she stepped out for work. Taking to her IG handle, Dia penned how hard it was for her to stay away from Avyaan for 4 hours. She wrote, “Finally stepped out last evening to be a part of a very special event. More on that soon! For now just wanted to thank this amazing team for making me feel super even though it was so so so tough going away from Avyaan for those 4hrs. Mamma will work Avi, because Mamma wants to make the world a better place for you to grow up in my jaan.”
On August 12, 2021, Dia had taken to her Instagram stories and had given her fans an adorable glimpse of her baby boy. In the photo, we could see Dia's munchkin donning a white-coloured elephant onesie and sleeping peacefully. Atop it, Dia had written, "We are celebrating #WorldElephantDay."

To announce her baby boy’s birth, Dia Mirza had taken to her IG handle and had shared a cute picture of his little fingers. Dia had also revealed his name and how his birth was a miracle because he had arrived much before the due date. She had written, ''To paraphrase Elizabeth Stone, "To have a child is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body." These words perfectly exemplify Vaibhav and my feelings right now. Our heartbeat, our son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi was born on May 14th. Having arrived early, our little miracle has since then been cared for by tireless nurses and doctors in the Neonatal ICU."
Dia had also revealed why she had to undergo an emergency C-section. She had shared, "A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life-threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section."
Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi had welcomed Avyaan into their lives on May 14, 2021.
